I can see nothing
In your wandering eyes
But the fear of what's unspoken
And how your love slowly diesAnd I can grasp nothing
From your dull, truant gaze
But the blank space and panic
Like you're stray in a mazeGuess your heart's not that big
It's just got so swolen
'Cause every time I dig
It's somehow still brokenNow they can see nothing
In my rosin eyes
But the fear of what's true
And how my joy slowly diesAnd they can grasp nothing
From the distance I keep
But when I say it's nothing
They just don't believeAnd to be honest
I wished you'd been dead
So fate kept the promise
But killed me insteadAnd yes it is painful
Yet nothing's more thrilling
Seeing those people
Effortlessly livingI'm tired of waiting
For nothing to happen
I'm tired of hoping
For something to change
