"We need to have fire sticks at the party." Said Nala. Friday was going to be Nala's sweet 16. Nala Barnet was the last person in 10th grade to turn 16. Her olive skin went perfect with her dark creamy hair. Her sharp crispy golden eyes sparkled whenever she smiled her warm smile. Nala was one of those girls who lived on the beach. On the other hand, Hazel Robison was not a girl you would find at the beach. You would find her in the library. For Hazel's sweet 16, she had everyone go to the opening day of the new museum. Only Max and Nala went. Hazel's red hair goes all the way down her tall thin back. Her eyes light up the rooms so bright that no one can tell they are blue. Hazel wishes she had green eyes like Max. His eyes are like green apples on a tree. He doesn't like his eyes so he has his blonde hair cover his eyebrows. Max Grey is Nala's and Hazel's best friend. They have been friends since grade school. For his 16th birthday, he had a D. J. and so much food it was unreal. Nala is having her party at the beach, because everyone told her to.
"Okay, we have the invitations, place, time, cloths, food, and torches. Anything else?" Asked Nala.
