MAIN AGAR KAHOON - PART 1

(This story is set after Koel track. The party and hence the confession didn't take place and Koel is still in the academy, the lawyers are seeing her divorce proceedings.) 

"Bhabhi, maine aapko pehle hi kaha hain, mujhe kisi se shaadi nahi karni !!", said Karan for the umpteenth time. He could really not understand why his sister-in-law was so desperate to get him married.

"Par kyu nahi Karan ?? Ek-na-ek din toh shaadi karni hi hogi, toh abhi hi ladki dhundne mein kya problem hain ??", Barkha, his sister-in law said through the phone.

Before he could reply anything, Faizi, his best friend, said to Barkha, "Actually bhabhi, Karan ki already girlfriend hain. Isliye kisi aur se shaadi nahi karni ise."

'WHAT ?? MERI GIRLFRIEND HAIN AUR MUJHE HI NAHI PATA !!! THIS FAIZI WILL BE DEAD TODAY !!' Karan thought.

"Kya ?? Sach mein Karan ?? Wow that's great !! Tumne pehle kyu nahi bataya ?? Kaun hain voh ?? Academy se hain kya ??", Barkha asked excitedly to Karan and Faizi.

To make matters worse, Faizi said, "Haan Bhabhi, academy se hi hain voh. Uska naam Dr. Monami Mahajan hain."

Karan's eyes went wide at listening HER name. He glared at Faizi. If looks could kill, Faizi would have been dead till now.

"Wow Monami !! Vahi ladki naa jisne Baby aur Gauri ki jaan bachayi thi !? Mai usse as Karan ki girlfriend milna chahungi. Karan, use na apne saath ghar le aana, iss sunday", Barkha said so excitedly that Karan couldn't deny so he just hummed and cut the call.

He turned towards Faizi and gave him his signature glare which made his best friend gulp. He started speaking, "Dekho Karan, mai aur tum dono jaante hain Bhabhi jab tak tumhe kisi ladki ko milne ke liye manwa nahi leti, tab tak haar nahi maanti. Toh hamne socha, ki kyu naa kisi ladki ko tumhari nakli girlfriend bana de !? Isse Bhabhi tumhe jyada bolengi bhi nahi iss issue pe."

"Par Rani Sahiba ka naam kyu liya ?? Tu jaanta hai, voh kabhi iss cheez ke liye nahi maanegi." Karan said angrily.

"Uffo Karan !! Shubh shubh bolo... Agar sahi se explain karenge, toh zaroor manegi voh. Aur to your first question, hamne uska naam isliye bola kyunki voh hamare iss drama ke liye bilkul perfect hain !!"

Karam raised an eyebrow at him, so he elaborated. "Dekho, tumhari bhasha mein bole toh, 3 baatein-
1. Baby aur Bhabhi use pehle se jaante hain toh unhe tumhari aur uski relationship se koi major problem nahi hogi.

2. Voh ladki academy ki honi chahiye jisse uska schedule tight rahega aur Bhabhi use jyada mil nahi payengi. Jitni kam mulaquatein hongi unki , utni hi kam galtiyan hone ke chances rahenge janaab.

3. Aap janab aur Monami tsunami waise bhi ek saath ache lagte ho, toh koi bhi maan lega ki aap dono date kar rahe hain."

Karan's glare didn't soften, instead it increased. He knew Faizi was only saying the partial truth. The real motive of making Monami pretend to be his girlfriend was that then they, i.e., Karan and Monami, would have to spend a whole day with each other, unofficially. Now you'll wonder why !? Well, actually Faizi was one of the biggest shippers of them. Even Karan knew this, thanks to his constant teasing.

"Okay !! Hame pata hain tum ab tak nahi mane ho, par jo hua use ham badal nahi sakte !! Toh hame ab yeh sab bhul ke ispe concentrate karna chahiye ki ham Monami-tsunami ko manaye kaise !!" Faizi said, trying to save himself from Karan's infamous anger.

"Ham kaun ?? Main kuchh nahi kar raha !! Tune yeh sab mess create ki hain, toh theek bhi tu hi karega !!", Karan said going back to his usual 'Khadoos' mode.
