The planes seatbelt sign flickered off. Each-and-every one of the two seaters was occupied by excited disabled children. All were bouncing around in joy, most were talking gibberish and waving their small hands. Some had to few limbs, some couldn’t speak, hear, or move. Some of the little children had Down Syndrome, ADD/ADHD, Dyslexia, or diseases like cancer.

They all had something different then normal people. They were thought of as special children, all sweet, smart and kind, on Flight D18. Along with them was Misty, a 10 year old girl with Down Syndrome. She had beautiful hazel eyes that were always crossed, and flowing blonde hair. Other then her little misconfigurations, this young girl was flawless in beauty.

Her crossed eyes fluttered around the plane, her small hands shaking in anticipation. Clutched in her small fist was a stiff piece of paper. Professionally printed on the ticket was,

It had a picture of a handsome fifteen year old boy, holding a microphone in one hand, and waving with the other. Misty’s pink lips were stretched in a wide grin. She heard some scary noises from the front of the plane. Her smiled faded into a curious frown. Her eyebrows scrunched together and she glued her crossed hazel eyes on the front half of the plane. A dark red spattered over the satin curtain separating the pilots and the passengers. Misty laughed, thinking it was only a new painting job on the plane, though she wondered why they did it now.

The other children were squealing and laughing to, some were clapping their tiny hands together. A single ear piercing scream ripped into Misty’s head from her teacher Mrs. Rooven, only a moment before the plane fell from the sky like a dead bird. Seconds became minutes, minutes became hours, but the second before the plane hit the ground Misty caught a glance of a man with his mouth open, then she heard the sound, hysterically laughing.

She closed her eyes and thought of her sister...

Then... Nothing.

I held on to my mother for dear life, crashed, suicide, crashed, crashed, crashed, crashed. The words kept thrashing at my head, mercilessly repeating themselves again. It was an exact-replica of the glowing T.V. screen before me. I had to be dreaming, this-this couldn’t have happened...

CRASH OF FLIGHT D18 FROM MIDAIR...NO SURVIVORS.

Why that flight, the next moment I got my answer. A major protesters daughter was supposed to be on that flight, but was dispatched on a later flight on airline D23. So sadly all the 56 innocent children of K-zoo Disabilities Center have been lost. The listings are next.

My eyes stayed glued to the screen, my cheeks and neck soaked with tears, and black make up. Sadly the listings weren’t in alphabetical order.

I hit the off button with my fist, chucking the remote at the wall, it bounced off and fell to the floor. I looked down at my mother, whom had fainted after my little sisters name had run on the screen. I shrieked in agony. Why my sister, my beautiful sister. My sister was dead, gone forever, because some stupid protesters daughter was s’posed to be on that flight. It got 56 children killed, plus Mrs. Rooven the teacher. That was only seven minutes ago, Misty died only seven minutes ago.

“Misty...” my mother murmured her lost babies name. I reached down and stroked her light brown hair, swiping it away from her eyes, and wiping the tears from her pretty face. Now I was an only child. Misty was gone. All because of an idiotic Justin Ridges concert for her Center. Why that flight? Why her? It was all Justin Ridges fault. Yeah that was it. I kissed my mothers cheek and raced up to my room.

Justin Ridge, look out, cause Melissa Groves is out... To get you.
