A week later...
It wasn't going well... Irene's mother found out about her and Seulgi. Seulgi was now trying to give Irene space to think things through. How did Irene's mom even figure it out?
" You had no right!" Irene screamed at her mother.
" I had every right you're my daughter!" Her mom snapped back.
" Yeobu, what's happening?" Irene's dad walked into the living room coming home from work.
" Your daughter is in a same-sex relationship!"
Irene's heart had dropped. She wanted to scream and cry her eyes out. She didn't deserve any of this!
" And?" Her dad asked
" What do you mean 'and'? Aren't you going to disapprove of her???"
" Disapprove of what?" Asked Irene's dad in a puzzled tone. Irene was shocked, was her dad supportive of this?
Her dad heaved a sigh. " Are you happy princess?" Irene nodded 'yes'.
" How is she like?"
" Well, she's a pilot in training right now and she's working a job simultaneously. She's an interior designer." Her father looked pleased, her mother? Not so much.
" I demand you break up with her or else, you'll lose your job and I'll make Suzy heir!"
" Ah jinjja, jagiya! Can't you see? Our princess is happy! Besides, she's doing amazing with the company."
" I'm so close to filing a divorce on you." Irene's mother threatened and walked out.
" Just give it time, I'll take care of this." Her dad gave Irene a reassuring look and landed a kiss on his daughter's forehead.
Seulgi just came home from flight lessons, it was a very tiring day for the girl, she immediately kicked off her shoes and rushed to her room. Seulgi took a quick nap and joined Wendy and Joy for dinner in the dining area after she washed up. Irene hasn't chatted with her yet, weird.
" How were your flight lessons today, Seulgi-yah?" Wendy asked.
" It was pretty good but pretty tiring. So many lessons and reading I had to do, but when Seonsaengim and I went up to fly, the view was breathtaking and felt very rewarding." Seulgi said.
Irene was currently thinking about what she wanted to do now. She didn't wanna tell Seulgi yet. She had to process this.
