Losing you was something I couldn't live for, every day was hell without you.

I faintly remember that day...

It was a normal Monday, I went to work, I did the chores. I was cleaning the dishes before I saw you coming home, I remember talking to you about my day while you did too. But for some reason it changed-

"Come on Chaeyoung let it go!" You shouted at me but I wouldn't back down,

"No Jisoo! Face it your-"

"I'm still alive, okay!?" Jisoo glared at her as Chaeyoung calmly placed the glass back in the sink.

"Yeah and how long do you have left?" Chaeyoung challenged as Jisoo rolled her eyes, "you act like your not dying!"

"Because I don't want to hear it from you!" Jisoo shouts as Chaeyoung heavily breaths in, "Getting constantly reminded if I took my treatments or pills, Damn it, let me live!"

"It doesn't work like that." Chaeyoung says, "I'm trying to get you healthy again."

"Well it's not working Chae, Fact it, I'm dying." Jisoo said bluntly, "There's nothing that's changing it." She walks away to the room as Chaeyoung follows before the door shuts in her face.

Chaeyoung looks down at the floor before walking away and finished washing the dishes, you sat in the room alone until you could feel a migraine form. You held your head trying to ease the pain but it kept getting worse.

You felt your vision go blurry before everything went black.

Chaeyoung turns the tap off before hearing a loud thud-

I held many regrets and yet, I couldn't take them back.

"JISOO!"

It all felt like a dream.
Tell me it was a dream.

Chaeyoung sat outside of the room before the door opened, she held her head in her hands reminiscing the prescious memories they shared. Everything felt too fast, she felt weak.

The image of Jisoo laying unconscious on the floor still haunts her mind, as if something like this has happened... (👀)

"Park Chaeyoung?" She lifts her heavy head to see the doctor looks at her with a sorry smile, one that told her everything.

"Is she?"

"No, but she doesn't have much to live." The doctor says looking at their board, "I recommend that you say your goodbyes because she can go any moment."

"Okay." Chaeyoung nods before walking in, she felt like crying seeing the many machines hooked on her girlfriend.

"Jisoo-" she swallows back the lump in her throat as she walks to her girlfriend, she sits on the chair besides her and takes her hand.

"You know- you still look beautiful." Chaeyoung says with a light tight smile as Jisoo was resting, "Chu-"

"I'm sorry." Chaeyoung says looking at their hands, "I'm sorry for how I acted... I'm sorry for keeping it a secret. It was selfish but-"

"I couldn't lose you."

"We all have to lose the person we love-"

"I don't want to live in a world where you aren't beside me." A tear fell on Jisoo's hand,

"I don't want to live without you."

"I wanted to marry you, I wanted to start a family, and grow old with you."

"Please don't leave me, I still love you." Chaeyoung begged, "I'm so sorry." She couldn't hold it in anymore.

"-It's life."

You gave her a response.

Chaeyoung lifts her head before sobbing harder,

A flatline.

The doctors rushed in before pushing her out of the room, Chaeyoung couldn't go back in so instead she left home. Family and friends would be visiting you anyways, strangely it was quiet.

Chaeyoung walks in the living room where things were untouched, flowers that you picked today was sitting in the glass vase. Chaeyoung picked up the vase before taking the flowers out,

Anger.

Chaeyoung threw the glass across the wall as she screamed, she cried as if there was no tomorrow.

I woke up.
It's not a dream.
