Chapter 12

Melisa's POV

It's been hours since Jack stormed out, he hasn't called or text any of us to say where he is or if he's safe. We're all beginning to get worried.

Me and Jack (J) lay cuddled up on my bed, neither of us could sleep, we were too worried about Jack.

"Mell, you're shaking like a leaf, please try to calm down?" Jack asked rubbing my arm up and down to warm me up.

"I can't, Jack, I'm so worried about Jack. I need to know he is okay" I sighed hugging into Jacks chest more.

"Why don't you call Ashley check if he's there and if not call him again" He said, maybe that was a good idea, but we have already called Jack millions of times. So why would he pick up this time.

"Okay" I sighed taking out my phone and calling Ashley.

~~~Phone call~~~

Mell~ Hey Ashley, Is Jack there yet?

Ashley~ No, not yet, I'm Worried, Mell. Where is he?

Mell ~I don't know but I'm going to try calling him again, okay?

I could tell she was crying through the phone

Ashley ~ Okay. She sniffled

~~~End of Phone Call~~~

"He's still not there, Jack. Where is he?" I was really worried now. He left at 7 and it's now 10:30.

"I don't know, babe. Try calling him again." he said. I rang Jacks number, it rang a couple of times when he picked up!

~~~Phone Call~~~

Mell ~ Oh My God, Jack! where are you?!?!

Jacks phone ~ I'm sorry but who is this? (a voice that wasn't Jacks asked)

Mell ~ Uh... I'm Jacks sister. Why do you have my brothers phone?!?!

Jacks Phone ~ I'm sorry to tell you this dear, but my name is Dr Jones and I am here with your brother at VOL Hospital. He has been in a really bad accident involving a speeding car. (the phone fell out of my hand and I fell to the floor)

~~~End of Phone Call~~~

Jack (J) rushed to Catch me before my head hit the floor.

"Oh My god! Mell! what's wrong?!?" He asked Panic written all over his face and voice.

"That was a doctor Jack's in the Hospital!" I began to sob but stood up and rushed to the door. "Jack, We have to go see him! This is all my fault!"

"No, Mell, It's not. Calm down Jack's going to be fine." He pulled me into a tight hug. "Come on I'll drive you, You can't drive like this" We Ran out to the car and drove to the Hospital.

I ran to the reception Desk.

"Jack Gilinsky!" I yelled "Tell me where he is!" The lady looked taken aback, She blinked and told the person she was talking to on the phone to wait a moment.

"And who might you be?" she asked, Bitterness laced through her voice. I was about to lunge across the desk at her before Jack grabbed me holding me against his chest.

"He is my fucking brother now unless you want that stapler shoved up your arse you're going to tell me where he is, Now!" She looked terrified, even Jack let go and stood back from me.

"Uh...uh" She scrambled through papers on her desk "He's in room 24"

I bolted down the long corridor until I was faced with Jacks door. I stopped outside, My hand reaching for the nob and slowly turning it.

~~~Jack J's POV~~~

Mell, Bolted down the corridor I chased after her, she stopped outside a door I am assuming was Jacks. I finally reached her when she was about to open the door. She walked into the room and let out a loud cry. I rushed behind her and wrapped her in a hug. Her head was buried in my chest. I looked over to the bed and saw Jack hooked up to all these machines.

Tears started to slowly trickle down my cheeks as I stared at my best friend laying there lifeless...
