I was sitting in class not really paying attention 'cause who does tbh. I was zoning out when the teacher said "Okay class we are going in to partners for this assignment!" I looked over at him as he started paring people up. I was hoping I would get Phoebe or someone I knew. "-with Evan. Phoebe you can be with Cherry I guess." Welp my two friends are partners so I can't be theirs. And the thing is there partners with each other too! "And Max with Y/n"

Max.. Out of AnYONe in the class I got partnered with him!! Ugh the nerve of that teacher. I looked over at him annoyed and he did the same. We had to do a science project together. "And the project will be due next week on Friday." And a whole 2 weeks I have to spend with him. I honestly have no idea what we could make so it was going to be whatever idea he comes up with and Ill make it better.
Class ended and I was walking toward Cherry and Phoebe. "Dude I can't believe Mr. Big Booty paired my with Max" I told them. "Yeah it would be better if you worked with us on the project. Mr. Big Booty is always in a mood and I heard he might quit ." Cherry said. Phoebe was a bit shocked at the info but smiled a bit and said "Its Mr. Begbouday guys. And if he is going to quit would that make the new teacher have to give us new partners maybe? And you wouldn't have to be with Max! It'd be cool if we'd work together!"
School was ending and Max was by his locker. I sighed walking toward him. "Hey.. so when do you want to work on the project." I said straight up to him."What?" He said. "..When do you want to work on the project.. We were assigned to work together.." Is this bitch dumb or what. "Oh yeah I'm not going to really do it you can though." UH- ExCUsSE ME NAH HE AIN'T GOING TO JUST SIT DOwN AND rELAX WHILE I dO AlL THE WORk FoR 2 WEEKS. I scuffed "I'm not going to do this project on my own okay. Your going to work on the project with me and I don't care if you dont want to 'cause your going to anyways."
He had a little shocked look on his face. "Fine meet you at your place?"
Oh. Um my, place. I was a little shocked to be honest and didn't know what to say. "Uh- y-yeah sure. We can sort it all out i guess later?" "Yeah whatever sure" I didn't know if we should've exchanged numbers right there, so I jestered (idek if thats a word) my phone to him. "Soo, do you like wanna get eachothers numbers orr.." I said quietly. He nodded a bit and gave it to one another. "I'll text you the details later." I said and started walking out of the school. Hopefully he thinks of an idea for the project 'cause I have no idea what to do. Or if we get new partners, that would be wayy more better.
