"Alyssa come on! Everyone is going to see the fire works, you haven't done anything other than training in over two months! You need to get out and socialize." My sister Brittany says her hands on her hips looking down at me as I lay in my bed reading "The Notebook" by Nicolas Sparks.

"B, how many times do I have to tell you? I don't want to go out!" I look at her in her cut off jeans, coral shirt that flatters her figure, tan and eyes all at once; and matching coral sandles. She's ready for a night on the beach with her boyfriend as are the rest of our siblings. Everyone else has already left with their boyfriends or girlfriends but Brittany is still here trying to get me to get dressed and go out. I'm settled in for the night with my auburn hair in a braid, baggy sweats and a fitted tank top. Only reason I wear the tank top is because it keeps everyone off my back about my clothes not flattering my figure.

"Alyssa," I look up at her again hearing her voice soften as she sits on the edge of my bed and squeezes my knee calmly. "You need to get out, take yourself out of the fantasy world of your books and back into real life. Please, I'm starting to worry about you.." I can tell immediately that she's being completely genuine. I sigh and sit up looking at her evenly.

"Fine, I'll come, but I'm not putting on any makeup or heels." I say but before I even finish she's zipping over to the closet to start grabbing clothes pulling out a pair of my skinny jeans, a blue fitted tank, silver flats, and a silver necklace that I forgot I had.

"Here, put this on and take your hair out of the braid and you'll be golden." She says smiling dropping the clothes on my bed beaming at me bouncing on her toes.

"You knew I'd give in didn't you?" I ask narrowing my blue eyes at her.

"Yep, you usually do." She says grinning at me before walking out of the cabin.
