The Abandoned School Volume 1: Beginnings Tie to A Great Adventure

Chapter 2: 6th Period

Noel, Alex, James and Emily are all running laps. James, showing off to Noel, ran all three laps in three minutes. Alex ran for three laps in six minutes, Emily and Noel were running together which took fifteen minutes for them to complete all three laps. Suddenly, Leo beat everyone by running three laps in one minute and thirteen seconds. "Beat that, chumps." snickered Leo. "Why you little-" "Hey! Chill, James. Chill. You did your best, buddy." said Alex. "But I wanted to do it for Noel!" cried James. "For who?" Noel questioned. "Nobody!" Blurted out James. "Guys! Stay on track." Alex said, as he pulls out his watch. "20 minutes. Let's go to the school by 4:00 Sharp." said Alex. "Right!" said everyone in the friend group but Alex. After school, they all arrived at the school at four o' clock sharp. But James, however, was late. "Wheres James?" Said Noel. "Oh I'm sure he should be here somewhere." Alex said. "What's that music?" said Noel. James then pulls up with his black lowrider with light blue streaks on the sides, it was jumping and the song playing was Blow That Thang (Doo Wah Ditty) by Zapp & Rodger. "What's up, what's up, what's upppp!" James said. He put his car on park and pulled the emergency park lever so that he could stay in his spot and not have his car drive on the off roads. He got out of his car to find everyone glaring at him with stern expressions. "What?" questioned James. "Oh you know what..." said Alex. "Oh boy..." James said, shaking. "You never told us you had a lowrider silly! Where'd you get it?" said Alex. "Uhh..." said James, confused. "It's a hand-me-down from my grandpa. He said 'once you get a driver's licence, that's when you ride it. But be extra careful with it.' I remembered his every word, and so, I cherished it well." said James. "I see I see. Did you know that you're also late too?" Alex said with a Boisterous tone. "Y-Yes, but I-" James said before Alex punched his shoulder
"Ow!" "Don't be late again please." Alex said. "Ok, I won't be late then."James said in acknowledgement. "Well, here we are." Alex said." "Elmark Elementary." James said. "I heard my mom telling me stories about this school." Emily said. Noel just cracks open some Ruffles originals and eats them. "Noel! Focus, please!" Alex said. "O-Oh. I'm sorry." Noel says as she puts away her Ruffles. "Here goes nothing..." Alex said. He then opens the door, and everyone stares inside the school. It's an empty hallway with lockers, broken old crayons, broken desks, broken chairs and many more things either abandoned or forgotten about. "Alright. Let's do this guys." Alex said. And so, the adventure for the Abandoned school begins. As they walked into the school the doors slam shut behind them. "Holy shit!" Shouted James, scared of the doors slamming. The others were startled. Alex however, was never afraid as he knew this was bounding to happen. The others look towards him. "Alex? You okay?" James said. Alex looks at them all and says "Let's go hunt some fuckin' lost souls.." he turns on his flashlight, and turns on his camcorder. They all agreed with him, and got ready to hunt. All of the lights then turn off and everyone gets annoyed. "Well, here's that for our hunt.." James said." "No James, we're just getting started." Alex said, ready and prepared.
