The Love Poem

I love you.
Three words that were so foreign to me, Before you.
How it happened,
I cannot explain.
Just the words you spoke
were enough for me
To fall,
So deeply in love.

It frightens me how fast I fell.
But it was all worth it.
For these moments we have together
Are enough for me to keep fighting.

You're my strength
Yet you're my weakness.
You've shown me what love is
When I thought it was a myth.
How you've done this
Is beyond me.
Oh how I've fallen,
So deeply in love.
Three words
that I believed were false.
You have proven me wrong.
For I love you more
then there are stars in the sky.
You are the Sun to my lonely Moon.
Without you, I am nothing but a rock.
You're light is what gives me a soft glow.
For I love you.
