random stuff

backstory bc I have nothing to do

Hiiii! My name is Melian, I'm a minor teenager and I'm biromantic asexual. I go by they/she. I'm Italian, but my mother is originally Serbian, and she came here for the Civil war in Serbia when she was young, so I speak Serbian. Oh, I have mommy issues (working on them) and I'm mentally unstable.

My grandpa wasn't into Cinderella or that stuff, so when I was little he used to tell me greek and roman mythology

I started actually reading things when my dad bought me in one of his work trips "The adventures of Pollyanna". I read almost every kid book I could find. Then, when I was seven, he found his old copy of Harry Potter and gave it to me. I read all the books in three months.

Then I discovered Percy Jackson and I fell in love with the series. Weird but true, Rachel Elizabeth Dare was the reason I admitted I liked girls. (I'm a kid of Apollo btw)

I'm still in the closet with my family, and I don't think I will ever come out to my grandparents (I have two grannys, the italian one and the serbian one, and my italian grandpa).
My dad is more chill about gay people, he says: "You can kiss everyone you want, just don't get pregnant" ( Im ace and that was so funny to hear since I think I will never have sex with someone and I havent still gave my first kiss) but my mom has internalized homophobia and actual transphobia (she's trying to be more open bc shes an high school teacher and bc she has: "a daughter who's stubborn and always talk abt lgbt rights, transgender ppl, feminism and equality" (her words) she thinks I'm some activist.

I go to scout, and I love my team (we are seven):
-me (I'm kinda the fruity funny mom friend)

-viola (she has internalized homotransphobia but we're working on it) (she dresses "goth'" (I don't think she dresses goth but she gets upset when I try to tell her)) (she wants to be on the center of attention 100% of the time) (she feticize anime characters) ( shes kinda the red flag of the group)

-jo (I could have a tiny crush on him-but shhhh!) (he's very short, he's good at drawing, he's sweet and smart and-ok ill stop) (viola misgender him and I almost kill her everytime she does) (he started reading percy jackson)

-maria (shes sweet and extrovert)

-cate t. or misa (she's introverted, has social anxiety and she doesnt like her face so she always has a mask) (I stole all her masks and i give her a mask only when we are in public, bc baby steps) (she's beautiful and we all say that to her)

-cate s. (she's funny and she has a particular humor)

-maria chiara or "gianna" (she's the oldest. Me and gianna are like the "mom friends") (she's currently reading TOA)

without them I wouldnt be here, I luv them <333.
