This was a new experience.Having parties after saving the whole world.However it was nice for some normality.

I was in a conversation with Kara and Felicity when my eyes drifted to Caitlin who was also in a conversation.I couldn't work up the courage to speak to her, especially after how we met

"You should ask her out"Felicity told me

"No that's a terrible idea.She probably doesn't even like me"I responded

The party eventually started to end and while Cisco was presenting a device to Kara , Caitlin walked up to me

"Hey"She said

"Felicity told me that you wanted to ask me something"She said and I turned to see Felicity wink at me

"Okay uh.I don't know how to say this but.Um.You're the most beautiful person I've ever met and I really like you so if you can ,I mean you don't have to ,, go on a date with me"I said quickly

"Really?"I said , trying to see if this was some joke

"I'm serious.I'd love to get to know you more"She replied making me smile

"I gotta go but I'll see you around"I said and I turned but I was pulled back and into and kiss which I relaxed into.We parted
