The hunger games

prim and I waited in the line to get our blood printed on the paper for the hunger games after we have all finished printing we listened to the president of the capital calling out the names she reached her hand in and pulled out a name"prim everdeen"no one said a word the guards started to take her away"NO"I shouted"I VOLUNTEER"there was scilence in the arena then the president shouted "CAN WE HAVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE FOR OUR VOLUNTEER "only one or two people clapped "NOW FOR THE BOYS"she reached Her hand in again"PEETA"he walked up to the stage where I was He

stood right beside me "NOW GO SAY YOUR GOODBYES"the president said we got about ten minutes to say our goodbyes prim came up to me "you didn't have to do that"she said "yes I did I can't just let you die''I replied she handed me a mocking jay pin "wear this it'll keep you safe"the guards came to take her away she screamed and struggled to get away from the guards but they were too strong for her the same happened to peeta his family got pulled away too.The next day we had to train right away I was training with the bow and arrow and peeta was training with a knife and before we knew it, it was time for our interview I was on stage in a beautiful dress"give us a twirl"said the man interviewing me I can't remember his name "ok"I said and I twirled for him there were flames coming out of the bottom of my dress "well it's been lovely interviewing you Katniss goodbye"I went off stage and peeta walked up for his interview we were watching him on the screen back stage "I fancy katniss"he said "well it's been nice interviewing you"the interview man said and peeta walked backstage I pushed him back against the wall "HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT YOU MADE ME LOOK WEAK"I shouted "I'm sorry" he said in pain I let him go and looked at him in dissapointment.Before we knew it it was the day of the games we were in the field where the games took place "LET THE GAMES BEGIN"shouted the president of the capital there was 15 of us and 3 people were stabbed to death already I ran into the trees I had my arrows in my bag behind me and my bow in my hand I saw another girl running a boy came up and stabbed her in the heart she fell to the ground and lay still, dead I ran up to a tall tree and climbed up it I strapped myself to the branch so I wouldn't fall off, it was very dark and I fell asleep. the next morning I woke up and fire balls were flying every where nearly the whole forest was on fire I got down from the tree and ran as fast as I could I fell over and it burned my leg I ran to another tall tree far away from the fire I found a gift on the tree it said use this on your leg. So I did. I went asleep and in the morning my leg was scabbed over it was amazing. I went for a swim in the lake and a gang spotted me they chased me so they could kill me I ran as fast as my legs would carry me I climbed up my tree again, they climbed up after me the girl in the gang shot arrows at me but she missed me they fell down the tree.Now,it was night again they had fallen asleep and so did I then in the morning I woke up they were still asleep I saw a little girl about 11 years of age in the other tree she pointed at the wasps hive next to me then she held up her knife, she was telling me to cut the branch.So I cut it as quiet as I could and it fell on top of them all the wasps flew out they killed one of the girls in the gang her skin was swelling up and she was dead we heard alot more fireworks there was only 6 of us left I thanked the little girl and she said her name was roo,a little while later I went for food and when I was coming back I heard roo screaming my name I ran over to her she was on the ground under a net I helped her up then a arrow came out of nowhere I moved.And it hit roo in the stomach she fell down but I caught her she looked up at me then she looked at the trees and stopped breathing her eyes were still open so I closed them I placed her on the ground and put flowers around her and in her hands and I left her to rest in peace I saw peeta camouflaged into the ground I nearly stood on him but I didn't I helped him up and he was cut badly I took him to a cave I heard an intercom say that there was more soothing cream so I went to get some,so did another girl she grabbed a bottle and ran off then I ran up So did a girl from the gang she ran towards me I shot an arrow but she dodged it she pinned me to the ground and tried to stab me"y'know your friend roo we killed her now I'm gonna kill you"she threatened me.Then another boy ran up and killed her"thanks"I said"just this once"he said. I grabbed the cream and ran back to peeta and smeared the cream on all his cuts then we heard another firework the boy that saved me had just been killed so there was only three of us left me,peeta and one boy from the gang. "feeling any better peeta"I said and we let in a romantic kiss we went for a walk and WOLVES started chasing us we ran to the hut and climbed on top of it so did the last boy from the gang he tried to push us off so the wolves would eat is but we pushed him off and the wolves ate him then ran off.Me and peeta had won the hunger games.
