A few hours had passed when Chris was woken up to the muffled sounds of shouting coming from the ensuite. She recognized one of the voices to be Gunter and the other seemed familiar. As she propped herself up against the wall, Gunter came crashing through the door. She froze as a lean figure exited the bathroom and pinned Gunter to the floor by his neck. "Where is she!?"

"Jacob?" Chris had finally gotten a good enough look at the man. Gunter and Jacob turned to her, Gunter looking confused as he struggled to get away from Jacob's grasp. "Who the fuck is Jaco-AH!" Gunter was cut short by Jacob slamming him into the ground. "Shut up!" Jacob turned back round to Chris who was now up and alert, sat like a meerkat as she decided what her next move should be. "I found you."

Chris' expression changed. A smile now washed her face as she got up from the bed and crouched in front of Gunter. "You did, babe, you did." She lent her forehead against his as Gunter continued to struggle, confused. "What?" He struggled, trying to find the words, "You mean, I was right? You WERE ACTING?"

Chris smiled, turning back to Gunter before twirling a piece of his hair in her hand. "Oh sweetheart, there's still one scene left." She turned to Jacob. "Hey babe, would you be a dear and make sure our guest is comfortable and secure for this evening's show?"

"What?" A look of further confusion and worry washed over Gunter's face as Jacob nodded his head and yanked Gunter up by his arm, walking him over to the chair that had held Chris at his mercy. Now, he was to be at hers. He let out a harsh yelp as he was slammed down into the chair. He struggled against Jacob's strength as cuffs began to bind him to the chair. Chris smiled, walking over to him. Now, a final touch. She took a belt from Gunter's bag and bound his torso. "Aw, it's like a little bow."

"Want to go for dinner after we clear up this mess babe?" Jacob had come up behind Chris and was now hugging her from behind, the pair both faced Gunter. Chris turned her head, their lips now only inches apart. "I would love to." She kissed him before pulling her lips from his. "But I think you might need to take a rain check." Before he could ask what she meant, a gasp left his lips as he collapsed to the floor. Blood pooled on the floor as the fresh wound on his abdomen gushed blood, taking Jacob's life with it. She smiled as Gunter cried out, pulling against the restraints. "YOU BITCH!" Tears escaped his eyes as a confused Chris bent down in front of him. "Why are you so upset? He tried to kill you, didn't he? Besides." She turned to look at her work,  her eyes filling with delight. "The villain dying in the first act makes for a great story, don't ya think?" Gunter continued to weep, "He loved you, and you just." Chris pulled his hair, forcing his head backward. "So? I'm the ruler in this world. He's just another subject. Plus it's not like you haven't had your fair share of kills huh sweetheart? So why would this bother you? Oh, wait." She smiled, leaning in closer so her face nearly touched his, "You don't like seeing people suffer, I almost forgot."

Chris let go of his hair, letting his head drop forward to his chest as she moved to undo the restraints on his ankles. "This is why I like you, Gunter." She moved to the belt, letting it fall to the floor as she unbuckled it. "How you think, how you act. It has me enthralled. You're such a complex character. One minute you're this heartless, ruthless torturer, and the next; you're a kind-hearted damsel in distress wanting to play hero. And that's why I cannot wait to play with you again." Before he could respond. she grabbed his hair and yanked him off the chair, dragging him to the door. She placed her hand on the handle and took one last look at the room that had held her captive these past three days. "What's that supposed to mean?" She turned to look down at a now changed Gunter. "Hm?"

"You said 'Play with you again'. Far as I'm concerned, we've never actually met in person. We only ever talked over the phone. Back when I worked on this case 4 years ago. So how can it be again?" Chris smiled before turning the handle. "Don't you worry sweetie" She pushed open the door. "Act 2 is about to begin, and that means our damsel in distress and our hero will regain what they lost." With that, Chris dragged Gunter out the door and to his car. She cuffed his legs together, blindfolded and gagged him, and threw him in the trunk. A few minutes passed as Chris went to and from the room and car before she finally got in the driver's seat and drove off, completely ignoring the lifeless corpses that decorated the complex of the motel.
