It felt good to finally tell someone. 'Please don't tell anyone Jess, not yet any way. I haven't even told Josh. I don't fit in my dress anymore!' I started ranting on. 'Katie we better get you in your dress before everyone comes back.' Jess said running to get the dress. Was that all she could say? I took my dressing gown off, leaving me standing in front of the mirror in my underwear. I looked fatter. Josh would know straight away. Jess saw me looking. 'Katie stop. You don't look fat and you won't for another 2 months. I am happy you a pregnant but are you?' Jess was right. Was I happy? Was I really ready for this big responsibility? 'I don't know' I replied. Jess pulled the dress over the top of me and slid it down. 'Well I think you and Josh are perfect parents. I am so happy for you, but you better tell Josh soon!' I nodded, 'I will Jess I will. Now quick this needs to be zipped up before the others get back.' I said. Jess started to pull the zip up. She got about 9cm away from the top when the zip stopped. Jess kept pulling the zip and jolting it but it still wouldn't budge. That's when I heard them. The bridesmaids. They were coming back already. They were talking about something, and they were pretty loud. I turned my head and looked at Jess. She looked back at me. We both knew that we had to get the zip done up in less than a minute. 'Breathe in on 3 okay? 1...2...3!' With that I breathed in, Jess pulled the zip and they walked in.
