Hey guys! Vote and comment please? Enjoy!
Also, this may seem a little cliche towards the end, but seriously, at one point of our lives we always get chosen to work with someone we don't quite get on with... so bare with me.
No more clicheness after this. Scouts promise...even though I was never really a scout. OKAY just read the story. lol

Chapter 2
Acting normal after all that's happened in the past month had proven itself to be a difficult task on its own.
Even the brightest smile couldn't hide the hardships that was going on in my family life.
With the freshness of my parent's ongoing divorce, the ranting calls made to me by my father about my mother, his move to Manhattan due to a sudden promotion, and the fact that Davie was now living with the sister of a woman who chose to single-handedly ruin her whole family's life for her own selfish gain. My life was a mess!
But I still had a few important people in my life to keep me grounded.
"I don't get how you can eat that crap. You're already skinny enough as is and you can't dare tell me it's because it taste good. Trust me, I tried it and that crap taste like flavored grass." Airin sneered from beside me at our normal lunch table.
I scoffed. "Please, that taco meat is probably made from a Chinchilla's ear, and so help you god if you actually think that, that milk actually came straight from the happy cow." I said then made a deal out of stuffing my mouth with some salad slathered by my favorite dressing.
He pulled a face that I instantly giggled at, then went back to forming a makeshift burrito with his soft taco shell and Chinchilla meat.
An idea suddenly popped into mind, causing me to grin devilishly down at my tray.
Forking some of my salad, drenched with French dressing, I brought it up to Airin's lips and thrusted it into his mouth right when he opened it to chow down on his taco. The face he made caused me to split a rib.
As soon as the taste invaded his tounge, he choked/spat most of it out, then spat on an empty spot on his tray. The scene was too funny!
My cheek started to sting while I continued to laugh.
Just then my best female friend, Grace, sat her tray on the table and proceeded to pull out a seat.
"You guys are something else." She shook her head with a small smile of amusement.
In my opinion, Grace was a unique beauty. She was fair skinned with tan freckles sprayed over her nose, ending as they reached her natural blushed cheeks. Her top lip was curved in a way that I guess most guys would find attractive, but ironically she was currently unattatched. And her eyes were a cat-like green color, and to me, they complemented her ginger red hair very well.
She did the same as Airin just had, and rolled her taco into the style of a burrito and began to eat.
"Oh, heads up," She swallowed down her artificial death in one gulp. "Davis is pairing everyone up for this major project that we're going to be working on for a few weeks."
A flat look hooded my features and I rolled my eyes at the news.
I hated working with others. I'm not a snotty smartie or anything, but the people I was often chosen to work with were almost always slackers who the teacher believed would step up their game because they were working with someone as "productive" as I was, but would really only contribute to the darn thing by sticking their names under mine.
