Chapter three:Team mates

Aideus reached his destination, murmuring to himself, "I'm finally here." He had arrived at the spot where recruits were signing up, making his way toward the designated area.

However, upon encountering a long line of people, he couldn't help but exclaim, "Seriously?" It was evident that he would be waiting for quite some time, a realization that left him feeling frustrated.

As he approached the line, he accidentally bumped into someone, quickly apologizing, "Sorry."

The person he bumped into seemed annoyed, muttering, "Watch where you're going," as he passed by.

Aideus couldn't help but wonder, "What's his deal?"

Then, another person approached him, initiating a conversation, "Hey there..."

Caught off guard, Aideus responded, "Um, hi."

The newcomer, named Zerik, seemed pleased with Aideus's physique. "Perfect..."

Aideus remained puzzled. "Um, thanks?"

Zerik introduced himself, saying, "I'm Zerik. What's your name?"

Aideus replied, "Aideus."

Zerik informed him, "Well, lucky for you, Aideus, I've decided to join your team."

Aideus was taken aback. "Team?"

Zerik seemed surprised by Aideus's lack of knowledge. "You don't know?"

Aideus asked, "Know what?"

Zerik explained, "To join the recruits, you need to be part of a team of five people."

Aideus was astonished. "What?!"

Zerik saw an opportunity and smiled proudly. "Looks like we're teammates now."

Aideus hesitated and began to leave, saying, "I'll think about it..."

Zerik, desperate to join a team, pleaded, "Wait! You need me! All the other teams are full. You won't find another one."

Aideus remained determined, "Then I'll find new teammates."

Zerik begged, "Please, let me join. I can easily find others to complete the team."

Aideus relented, realizing he needed assistance in this unfamiliar place. "Fine, you're in."

Zerik was relieved. "Thank you!"

Aideus suggested, "Let's split up and find more members for our team."

They separated to search for additional members.

Aideus pondered, "Where can I find more teammates?"

A voice interrupted his thoughts, "Excuse me."

Aideus turned to see a potential teammate.

The newcomer asked, "I overheard you need someone for your team. Can I join?"

Aideus accepted, "Of course. Welcome to the team. What's your name?"

The newcomer introduced themselves, "I'm Mirai."

Aideus welcomed Mirai, "Glad to have you, Mirai."

Suddenly, Zerik returned with two more potential teammates.

Zerik introduced them, "I found two more to join us."

Aideus was impressed, thinking, "That's unexpected."

One of the newcomers, Denzel, spoke up, "I'm Denzel, and this is Armstrong."

Aideus greeted them, "Nice to meet you both."

Armstrong made a sound.

Aideus was puzzled, "What?"

Denzel explained, "He doesn't talk much. We were on our way to get food when Zerik persuaded us to join. I hope it's worth it."

Aideus responded firmly, "Understood."

Denzel added, "Let's go."

They headed to the arena to sign up just in time. As they entered, a voice announced, "All participants, enter the arena!"

Their journey to becoming knights had begun, filled with challenges and adventures unknown.
