I dropped to knees and screamed. I couldn't process what she said. I didn't want to believe it but I had too. I was crying so much. 'Ma'am' she said. I didn't know what to do. My whole world crashed around me. I froze. I couldn't move.'Ma'am, I have to get you up. You cannot be on the floor during a pregnancy, it may cause you to loose your baby. Please stand up' She grabbed my arms and helped me up. I felt weak. How would I tell Josh? He would hate me even more. He already blamed me for it. 'Nurse can, can, I, see, see,him?' I asked shaking. She shook her head. 'I'm sorry Katie you can't, Connor is in intensive care at the moment. He will be in a room at around 6am tomorrow? I can call you a taxi to go home and then you can come back tomorrow morning?' The nurse asked. I nodded, tears still streaming down my face. 'Okay!' She put her arm around my shoulder and took me outside to get a taxi. When we walked out the area where the car crash happened was taped off. The nurse could see I was looking at it. 'Ma'am please don't look. It won't help' she said. I nodded. 'Nurse do you know Jess? She was working this morning?' She nodded. 'Did she go home?' I asked. 'Yes she said she had to take a little girl home. My boss let her off early!' She replied. I was so happy that nothing had happened. 'Why did you ask?' The nurse asked me. 'Because that little girl is my sister, and Jess is Connors Fiancé.' I replied. 'Oh Jess never told me this? She never even mentioned, Connor, you or the little girl. Just Josh.' I froze. Why only Josh?
