Shoyo's POV
I'm walking with Tsukishima and Yamaguchi at lunch when someone bumps into Yamaguchi, causing him to drop his food. Tsukishima turns around, but the guy is already gone. I help Yamaguchi clean up and then he steps back in the lunch line to replace his food.
I feel something smack me in the face. "Wake up Shoyo!" Natsu screams at me, holding a pillow. "I'm awake now," I grumble. "Breakfast is ready so hurry up and get dressed!" she shouts from the doorway. Then she runs downstairs, most likely sitting at the dining table.
I sigh and get up. I put my uniform on, then head downstairs for breakfast. "Morning Shoyo," Mom says with a smile. "Morning Mom," I reply. I sit down and start munching on my pancakes as I look at the clock.
"Shoot!" I exclaim. I shove the pancakes into my mouth, grab my backpack and volleyball stuff, and then run out the door. "Bye Mom! Bye Natsu!" I shout from my bike. Mom sticks her head out the door and waves goodbye as I zoom off to school.
I arrive at class just before the bell rings and take my seat. Then class begins and I stare out the window as my teacher drones on about the anatomy of bugs. Soon my eyelids feel heavy. I try my best to stay awake, but fail and fall asleep.
I see Suga and Daichi chatting in the corner with Ukai, Takeda, and Kiyoko. Kageyama is setting to Noya, who receives it and sends it back to him. They do it so perfectly, it's mesmerizing. Tanaka and Tsukishima are arguing about something while Yamaguchi, Asahi, and I are sitting on the side watching everything.
Suddenly, my phone rings. I pull it out and check the caller ID, which says Mom, then I answer it. "Hello?" Mom says over the other end. "Hey Mom," I reply. "Hey Shoyo," she says. "I'm gonna be late tonight. Traffic's really backed up, so you'll have to pick up Natsu."
"Yeah, I know Mom," I reply. "Alright," Mom states. "There's some microwave dinners in the freezer, rice and mac n' cheese in the cabinet, and vegetables and chicken in the fridge, so make whatever you want, just make sure it's healthy."
"Thanks. Bye Mom," I say. "Bye Shoyo," she responds before hanging up. "Everything alright, Hinata?" Asahi asks. "Everything is fine," I reply. He nods and we turn our attention back to the guys messing around.
"Hinata!" Yachi whisper yells. I look up to see people leaving the classroom. "Class ended! We have to hurry if we want to make our next class!" "I'm coming Yachi," I mumble. I groggily sit up and walk to class with her.
Man, that was so weird. I've never had visions in the middle of class, even when I fall asleep. Maybe my abilities are changing or getting stronger. What if someone finds out about my visions and experiments on me or something?
"Are you alright Hinata?" Yachi asks. "You look worried." I put on the biggest smile I can muster. "I'm fine Yachi," I say. She smiles back and walks off to her seat in the next class. I go and take my seat and stare out the window again.
Throughout the rest of my classes before lunch, I just can't focus on school. Then, when lunch comes, I spring into action. I join Tsukishima and Yamaguchi for lunch. After we get out of the lunch line, I see the guy coming over.
Just as he bumps into Yamaguchi, I catch Yamaguchi's tray and kick the guy in the back of the knee. It's one of the senior bullies. Tsukishima turns around and gives the guy a death stare, as does Yamaguchi. "You're going to pay for that," Tsukishima says. He goes to punch the guy, but instead of actually hitting him, Tsukishima's fist contacts the floor next to the bully's head.
The bully wets himself, making everyone around us laugh. Yamaguchi snickers and looks at the guy. "What a disgusting piece of trash," Yamaguchi says. Then he ran scared, probably to the principal's office to blame us.
