When I got home, I knocked on the door. Mom was the one who opened the door. I couldn't read her expression, it seemed concerned yet angered. I couldn't explain it, let alone read it. She quickly grabbed my wrist, harshly, as she dragged me inside.
So she's angry with me... When we both were inside, she harshly grabbed both of shoulders, forcing me to look at her. "Amity Blight, you disobeyed my orders and gave yourself to a monster, a monster who could really harm you!" She yelled at me. If I didn't know any better, I would've assumed she was scared for my well being, but I know she just cared about the vessel that she wants to live through...
"I'm sorry..." I apologized, lowly as I hung my head low.
"Sorry isn't enough! Seriously, that deal of yours was almost as foolish as the idea that you'd be able to continue to write that foolish story of yours." She sighed. "Young lady, you're grounded for a month! Go to your room!"
She yelled as she pointed to my room.
"Yes, mom." I was on my way to my room. I went to my room and closed the door behind me where I heard mom lock it with her key. Somehow I feel a lot more like a prisoner here then I did with the dragon... Ghost turned into my staff as I got on and flew out my window as I flew to the castle of the dragon.
I knocked on the gates, too tired to use the majority of my strength to open it again. I hear the flapping of wings and it lands where I see the dragon. It opens the gates easily as it pushes the gates with it's snout. "You're here? So soon?
I thought you'd come tomorrow, not today..." It said, lowly and oddly concerned.
"Well, my mom and I... We were... In a disagreement is all... And I wanted to see you sooner due to it." I said, calmly and lowly.
"Oh, want to talk about it inside?" I nodded and we both started walking inside. Once inside, the dragon laid down besides a couch which I sat down on. "So, what did you two have a disagreement about?"
"Well, about you, actually... We had a disagreement over the deal and arrangement that I made with you..."
"That's insane!" I was surprised by the anger in its voice and slightly jumped. W-What..?
"What is?"
"That she's disagreeing with you! You took her place to help her and her husband! That's the most selfless thing anyone could've done! And she's disagreeing with you?! What's wrong with her?!"
Tears started spilling as I quickly hugged the dragon's snout and it tensed up, out of surprise I think, I hope. "Thank you..."
"You're welcome." I hugged the dragon's snout even more as more tears spilled from my eyes, but I was smiling, gratefully and happily. I felt comfortable, almost like I was home. The dragon relaxed and put it's head in more into my embrace.
"What's your name?"
"Huh?"
"What's your name?"
"Luz, Luz Noceda."
"That's an interesting name for a male dragon like yourself." I let out a slight chuckle. The dragon let out a chuckle too.
"Girl, actually, I know you wouldn't be able to tell, but I'm a girl." Oh, that's good to know.
"Well, even then, it's an interesting name."
Luz's skin warms up, at least on her snout. "Thank you. Honestly, I didn't expect you to be doing this so soon..."
"Well, I didn't expect you to be so comforting or kind, but here we are." She grew even warmer again.
