Pomp Cookie walked back to the small camp while carrying the sleeping Milk Cookie over her shoulder. When she approached the spot Milk was originally in, she gently placed him down.

Now that Milk Cookie was back at the camp, Pomp Cookie could rest as well. She sat down on her knees and placed her hands on her lap. Afterward, she slightly slouched over and closed her eyes.
Suddenly, the scenery was no longer the forest environment with the camp surrounding her. Instead, it was a palace, a beautiful one with mostly a soft yellow color scheme with numerous long, large, colorful stained glass that had beautiful illustrations on them.

Pomp Cookie opened her eyes and then straightened her back. "That was a close one..." She sighed.

"What happened?" A slightly hoarse, feminine voice asked.

The familiar voice lured Pomp Cookie's attention over to the source. There was a throne right next to her, and sitting on the throne was a purple cookie with black horns, armor, and cape. In her hand was a bone staff with a horned skull attached to the top.

"Well?"

"Got a little too impatient and made the cookie angry, but I made it up to him," Pomp vaguely explained before standing up.

A smirk formed on the purple cookie's face. "Heh, didn't expect someone like Milk Cookie to be prone to such negative emotions. Good. That's good." The cookie then slightly lifted her head up. "That means we're getting there. Closer than before. As long as those emotions weaken his soulstone then we're on the right track."

"That's good to know, Dark Enchantress Cookie," Pomp Cookie said, slightly lowering her head. "I'll make sure to keep at that, but for right now, I'll take my rest for the day." She walked off. While she was walking down the stairs, Dark Enchantress called out for Pomp, redirecting the cookie's attention to the devilish cookie.

"Yes, Dark Enchantress?"

"I have a suggestion for next time. Why don't you up the intensity? Already, this process has lasted for months now, and with that other forsaken cookie seeming to have abandoned his own part of the plan, we're currently getting nowhere with this. The last thing I want is to have that annoying cookie back on this premises asking about Milk Cookie for the 40th time," Dark Enchantress said, her hoarse voice now having a stern tone mixed into it. "I'm sure you're more than capable of that."

There was a bit of silence from Pomp Cookie. She glared at Dark Enchantress as she narrowed her eyes, contemplating the suggestion; Pomp didn't think going from 0-100 in a snap would be the right approach to this, who knows what would happen to the cookie if there wasn't enough breathing room for his mind to adjust?

"Dark Enchantress, I will not deny that I am capable of intensifying the treatment, but I do not think that is a good idea. If you want to roast a jelly, you don't put it in 500 degrees heat in hopes of roasting it faster; the jelly will explode under such an enormous and sudden change of temperature. We want to weaken the cookie, not break him."

Despite what Pomp Cookie said, Dark Enchantress did not seem to be moved by it. "I prefer if you take my suggestion as a command. Our goal is to break him. Stress him out. Make him not him. That's the whole point of this plan, Pomp Cookie."

These words seemed to be contradicting what was told to her when she was first introduced here, but regardless, knowing her and Dark Enchantress' history together, Pomp did not talk back. Instead, she gave a nod. "Yes, Dark Enchantress. I will do it."

"Thank you. Now go on."

Pomp Cookie walked off, going to her room.

While the two cookies had their little discussion, another cookie was present in the room, but they weren't visible. More so, the cookie was hiding from the others; specifically, behind the elevated flooring, in a little corner.
It wasn't quite clear what possible features were on the cookie's silhouette. All that is known is that they were eavesdropping and were dead silent.
