Can sense magic in others, and if they are a non-human, what kind they are. They are a subspecies of shifters, but instead of being able to shapeshift into anything, they can only shapeshift into what animal reflects their spirit, and the area where they live.
They are distributed throughout the world the same way shifters are, except they have permanent settlements. They have ceremonies for children when it is time for them to gain their animal form.
The eldest of the spiritshifter village is the leader, unless they are deemed unfit, by the village, or by the spirits or spiritspeakers.
