Asher Weliston, a famous hunter known as the Masked Devil for his iconic black and white mask, seemingly wore it everywhere.
No one has really seen his face. The closest they've got was the glowing hues coming from his mask--the purple and bright yellow glows that screamed danger.
Well, maybe the only person who saw the face was his former lover, Kim Gong-Ja. A man no one knew, an extra, a bystander.
So who would believe such a fellow was supposed to be an ex-boyfriend of one of the top Ranked Hunters?

"Why...why Asher...Why're you leaving..?" Kim Gong-Ja asked as he stared at the white-haired man.

"It's too dangerous. For both you and me." the man bluntly said, no hint of emotions in his voice.

"What do you mean by that?" Kim Gong-Ja hesitantly asked.

"It's..." the white-haired man's voice trailed off as he thought of an answer. "..Complicated alright? I rather not talk about it." an unanswered answer.

The man felt his back become wet, wet from the tears of the man he had loved so dearly.
"I promised you before I would protect you. And I don't want to break that promise either."

Waking up in his 23-year-old body was something Asher Weliston didn't expect to happen.
But he has his suspicion about who could've caused this.

Both former lovers knew it just wasn't the same as before.
Though they both had stopped talking to each other for so long, they had to work together because of the sudden skill being gifted to both of them from the tower.
It was as if the tower had wanted the two to reunite because of the skill it gave.
A regression skill and a skill that followed the regressor whenever they regressed.

He had fallen in love. In love with the man, he thought abandoned him.
His former lover.
But even when realizing his feelings had once again bloomed for the masked man, he knew it was unlikely for the man to feel the same.
