Nacht x reader

The sun was already setting. You could feel the rays of sunshine gently caressing your face, cheeks slightly rosy, after training with your fellow squad members. After having bathed, you liked to go to the balcony to admire the gorgeous scenery unfold in front of you. The view of the lake in the distance made you feel a certain tranquility, which could only be attributed to one other person. Content, you fell into a daydream.

After feeling a pair of arms gently wrap around you, the daydream you were in slowly dissipated into the pink-orange sky. His hair tickled your neck, as he planted a soft kiss in the same place. The lake looked so tranquil.

After turning to face him, your eyes met. A spark of excitement ran down your spine.
"Nacht, it's so nice seeing you. When did you get back from the Spade Kingdom?"

"A couple of hours ago. I reported my findings to the Capitol, and have to return to the Spade Kingdom in two days."

That was your relationship. You spent most of your time training and taking missions. He, frequently went on missions to the Spade Kingdom as a spy. It wasn't ideal, but you both had ambitions. You spent all the free time you could with one-another.

Walking around the lake, you feel a tug on your hand, as Nacht accidentally trips over a rock. You couldn't help but giggle slightly.

A light blush appeared on Nacht's face. He patted your head and said "Hush. I did that on purpose."

"As if. You totally didn't see that coming. But don't worry, I won't tell anyone...", you trailed off as you patted his head "it was cute."

A slight look of confusion appeared on his face, as his cheeks blushed a deeper shade of pink. His eyes were peering into yours, as if he were trying to figure you out. Still smiling, you broke the eye contact as you both walked ahead, in the direction of your base.

"Nach-" as you were walking, you didn't notice a step in front of you. You fell forward and braced yourself for impact with the cold, hard ground. Instead, you found yourself in a pair of arms. Nacht's arms. He caught you. His body felt warm against yours, it was comforting. You wished that you could forever stay in his embrace.

His eyes were focused on your shocked expression, but soon became lidded as your gaze met his. "don't worry..." he smiled. "I won't tell anyone."
