People were thrilled i was back. Many people gave me high fives and hugs. It was like people were starting to be nice. But people found out about her and Draco. I couldn't care less. Many people asked me how rehab was, it was a bit shit. But it was worthwhile. And a good way to spend my time. By now i had found out harry kissed Cho under the mistletoe when i was a depressed little shit. I wish I was there. The twins told me about how they are planning to open their shop because Harry gave the prize money from the triwizard tournament, which was great. And they had already made some money by paying first years to test out our products. It was great! They were called the snack boxes. And the treats inside did look good. But I can't be having even more time off school.  I went back to my dorm. But i was surprised by a certain owl on my bed. It wasn't Hedwig nor Errol. It hash a letter in it pointed beak.

'And who are you?' I asked sitting down on my bed next to the majestic owl. The bird just squawked. I took the letter  and  unfolded it.

'Astronomy Tower, don't be late, be alone...' i read from the piece of parchment. This was odd. I didn't recognise the handwriting. Oh well, we'd just have to find out won't we?

Once darkness has taken over the sky i slipped out and transformed into my dog form. I padded my way to the Astronomy tower, and when i got there. Nobody was there.

I detransformed 'Hello? Is anyone here?' I asked the darkened place. I heard no response. But then i saw another letter. I quickly unfolded it and read aloud

'I am dirty but determined, curious but cunning, strong but selfish,powerful but prejudiced..who am i?'

A riddle. If only Hermione was here..wait no, she betrayed me. I can figure it out for myself. Think..Ev, think! I started to think back to what someone told me when i first started.

'Those, those are the Slytherins, known as the snake house. They are selfish and will play dirty to get ahead in life. Their so wrapped up in their prejudiced beliefs they become too self absorbed. I would keep out of their way, if you don't want to die in your sleep'

That's it! Salazar Slytherin, or something to do with Slytherin! I rushed down the steps and all the way to where their common room was. It was pretty cold. But we are still in winter.  I then saw another note. On the floor, i opened it.

Go inside, if you're really that daring.

I crumpled up the paper an shoved it in my pocket. I have no idea what the password was. Where is my brain when i need it.

I poked at the portrait of Slytherin. I'm not going to show many sign of weakness. I saw the old man nod his head.

'Err, Draco Malfoy is a pure blooded prick?' I suggested

The door didn't open.

'Very funny, Black' i heard a faint voice next to me. I turned to see the face was...unfortunately Draco Malfoy himself

'What are you playing at, Malfoy? I'm done with your games.' I turned to walk away but he grabbed my wrist.

'What do you want now ? Let go of me, go back to Hermione.' I shut him down coldly

'Look i fucked up, it wasn't my fault. She seduced me, i swear' his voice got weary

Hs fist was still around my wrist, as if he was going to crush it.

'But you let it happen, Draco. That what hurt me more' I brushed his comment of

'I know. I know, i-'

'If you knew. You wouldn't of fucked my ex best friend' i nearly shouted

'Evanora, please. I will owe it to you. I will do anything' he pleaded

I had to be cold i can't risk it.

'Draco, i loved you. But I can't forgive you.' I pulled away finally

I saw a single tear roll down his pale cheek. His hair was scruffy, how i liked it.

'She left me.' He blurted out

'So I'm the second option on Draco Malfoy's fucklist' i explained in disbelief

'N-no it isn't like that at all. I feel something for you.  I never have, i love you, Ev. Please give me a second chance' His voice cracked

I badly wanted to say yes. But I couldn't

'You made me collapse into myself, you never even cared if I never attended my lessons before i overdosed. You just toy with me like every other slut at Hogwarts  you can put your dick inside of' I explained angrily

'You don't understand, Evanora!' He shouted

'Understand?! Draco I understand everything crystal clear' I snapped

'Oh fuck it. What the fuck?! I love you, i mean it, i was being stupid. Please give me another chance' he said

We both stared at each other. I was trying to find a lie or a fault, but there wasn't. But i am not going to be a pushover.

'I can't.' I shook my head

'Ev, you're the only one, i promise you. Please, i wont fail you' he came forward  as i stepped back

'You failed many times, Draco. I had given you chances, and you..' I trailed off

'Me?' He asked

'You, are nothing to me anymore'  i snarled

Okay maybe that was a bit too harsh. I saw him back away, he was hurt. But he hurt me first.

'You don't mean that?' His voice quivered

I couldn't be asked to speak so i just walked away. Fresh tears forming in my eyes, why does love have to be so hard? Oh Godric help me.  I walked back to see Hermione sitting alone, in the empty common room. She looked at me with a desperate expression.

'Evanora..' she instantly got up

'Don't talk to me. I've just had to deal with Draco's bullshit' i tried to get past her

'Draco..he does really love you, that's why i broke up with him. He told me he couldn't be with me, because his heart belongs to someone else....you' she concluded

'He never cared, and nether did you.' I gave her the cold shoulder

'I was selfish, I know. Everyone hates me now. But he did care...he kept asking all the teachers where you were, even asked Harry' she said with a slight smile

'I don't care.' I said carelessly

But deep down i did.

'I broke up with him because i realised, i was a backstabber, and a bad friend. I'm sorry, but i broke up with him for you, Nora.' She breathed out

I just looked at her before pushing past her to my dorm. I could not trust her.

But what if it were true?
