CHAPTER 23

PABLO's POV

I don't know what happened. I don't know how did that happened... I just woke up one morning from my sleep by the continous rings from my phone. When I checked it, may mga missed calls galing kila Stell, Josh, at Justin. I also noticed lots of notifications on my phone. Josh messaged me and said that I should open my social media account asap and that's what I did.

Chats from ShowBT's staffs, even from my co-members welcomed me when I opened my messenger. I suddenly opened our group chat. My brows furrow6ed in confusion when I saw a screenshot sent by Josh. At sunod-sunod ko na ring nabasa yung mga chats nila.

I immediately get up from my bed when I realized what was it and when I went on my senses. Agad akong lumabas ng kwarto ko habang di ko pa rin binibitawan yung phone ko. But before I could even reach where my family members are ay dinig ko na ang mga boses nila na nasa dining.

"Trending sila Kuya, Ma."

"Yung Go Up nila, trending sa Twitter."

"Alam niyo na?" I uttered when I heared my siblings talking.

"Kuya Pau!" Alex said then approached me immediately. "Itong dance practice niyo ng Go Up, trending." she said then she showed me our video. Oh, someone posted it on Twitter.

Alex showed me some of the replies on the tweet. I gulped. There are lots of it. Hindi ko na mapigilan na hindi mapangiti nang mabasa ko iyon. Compliments. I hate compliments, for myself maybe, but by seeing the feedbacks on our video, I feel fluttered.

So that was it...

Hindi pa man ako nakakabawi nang tuluyan sa pagkagulat ay pinatawag na kaagad kami ng management. Lahat kaming lima ay pinatawag sa company. Stell and Justin was already there when I arrived, sumunod si Josh, at as usual, huli si Ken.

Ken looks very confused when we started talking about what have just happened. Mukhang hindi pa talaga nagsisink-in sakaniya yung biglang pag-trending nung dance practice namin. Actually, kahit sa akin, sa amin, hindi pa masyadong nagsisink-in 'yon. But it's right in front of us. We can't help but to read more tweets about us. About the netizen's feedback when they watched our video.

Thanks to the one who posted it.

"Sabi na sainyo eh, may mangyayari." Josh said to us. "Kasi magdadabog ako pag walang kinahinatnan 'to."

I can't help but to chuckle at what he said. Loko talaga, napailing nalang din ako.

"Kidding aside, I guess this is now the start of our time. Let's just hope na hindi lang ngayong araw 'to, hindi lang siya umabot ng linggo o buwan. Let's hope na magtuloy-tuloy na. Hanggang sa maabot natin yung pinapangarap natin, yung goal natin talaga." he said, serious and sincere.

"Sulit yung isang libong ulit na practice natin doon, pre." sabi ni Ken. Sulit nga.

"Mabuti nalang malinis yung video natin, noh?"

"Panong hindi lilinis eh white yung background natin."

I chuckled again. Banatan ba naman ni Jah si Stell na seryosong nagsalita. Malinis, ibig sabihin niya is synchronized kami roon sa video, on point yung mga galaw, ganon.

"Gagi, si Sejun, tumatawa oh! Pasimple ka pa diyan, dre, ah."

Napailing ako kay Ken. Hindi ko alam kung sarcasm ba 'yon o ano pero para namang ngayon niya lang ako nakitang tumawa. Nang-aasar lang ata siya eh.

"Wag kang ganyan, bestfriend—I mean, bestpal..."

Napatingin ako kay Stell nang sabihin niya 'yon tsaka tinapik-tapik nang mahina si Ken sa balikat habang nakatingin sakin ng makahulugan. Isinawalang bahala ko nalang iyon tsaka umiwas ng tingin sakaniya.

Few more days after the day when we went viral. Some medias sent us an invites for some interview.

It's our third interview when suddenly, Stell got late which is so unusual for him. Nakakapagtaka. Saan nanaman ba siya galing? Alam naman niya na may schedule kami ngayong araw tapos na-late pa siya. Dinaig niya pa si Ken ngayon.

"Hays, finally!" We all looked at one of our staff who exclaimed that.

Finally nga. Sa wakas naman ay dumating na si Stell.

"Ba't ngayon ka lang?" halos sabay-sabay kaming apat nina Ken, Josh, at Justin na nagtanong sakaniya.

He just lowered his head a bit like bowing down to the staffs here. He also uttered sorry as he turned to us.

"Sorry. May dinaanan lang ako." he said.

May dinaanan...

We just sighed then nodded. Napairap nalang din ako sa kawalan at bahagyang napailing.

We waited for a few moments for the staffs and crews to set up the lights and cameras that will be used and after that ay agad na rin kaming nagstart.

The interviewer let us introduced our group and our names one by one after it. Nakakakaba pa yung ganito. The truth is hindi pa naman kami sanay talaga sa ganito pero kailangan na naming pagsanayan dahil parte to ng trabaho namin, ng ginagawa namin.

The interview focused knowing our group since we are just a newbie in the industry. At since baguhan pa nga lang kami ay may ilang tanong din tungkol sa background namin, sa kung paano kami naging SB19, kung paano ba kami nabuo at yung feeling na nag-viral kami because of our Go Up dance practice video.

All of us answered. We take turns to answer every questions the interviewer is giving us.

The interview lasted for almost an hour.

At pagkaraan din ng ilang minuto ay pansin ko ang pagkabalisa ni Stell. Parang di siya mapakali base sa kilos niya. Parang may iniisip siyang nakakapagpabagabag sakaniya.

"Kain tayo sa labas mamaya?" Josh asked us afterwards.

I just nodded as a response, same as the others.

We ate at a restaurant. Okay naman sana eh. But I saw Bianca with her suitor and another woman on the other side, nasa di may kalayuan sa amin. Hindi ko alam na napatitig na pala ako ng matagal sa gawi nila kung di lang ako siniko ng mahina ni Josh.

"Hala, sige, titig pa. Ba't di mo nalang kasi lapitan?" sambit niya.

"Sinong lalapitan?" ani naman ni Justin.

"Ba't ko pa lalapitan eh may kasama naman siya. And besides, paanong basta-basta ko nalang siyang lalapitan na parang walang nangyari?"

"Eh kasalanan mo naman."

"Ulit-ulit?" ani ko kay Josh, medyo naiinis na. I opened up to him once at parang mas ipinamukha naman niya sakin na kasalanan ko talaga, though alam ko naman, naiinis lang ako dahil paulit-ulit nalang.

"Sila na ba? Mukhang nagdedate oh. Pero bakit may kasamang isa pa?"

Nagkibit-balikat nalang ako sakaniya. Hindi ko rin naman talaga alam eh. If they're really together now, then maybe it's good for Bianca. I just want her to be happy, kung masaya siya kay Jeff, then I'll let her. Sino ba naman ako para umeksena nalang ulit basta-basta pagkatapos ng ilang buwan na walang paramdam sakaniya.

I'm just her bestfriend. Nothing more, nothing less, I guess. But by now, I don't even know if she still treat me as one. After what I did and acted towards her. But I just hope she knows that I don't really mean what I've said. Alam kong nasungitan ko siya, pero sana 'wag naman niyang damdamin iyon. I really don't mean that to her.
