Sara's pov.

"GET BACK HERE YOU WORTHLESS PIECE OF SHIT!" My mother had said before i ran out the door. Oh I forgot I'm Sara I'm 12 and well as you can see my mother hates me. It all started a year ago my 11 birthday.
FLASHBAK
"Happy birthday to you!" Sang my mom and friends. Once I blew out the candles my dad came in. "Happy birthday honey here's a gift!" My father had said. It was a box with holes. I opened it and a puppy was in it! "A PUPPY THANKS DAD!! IM GONNA NAME HIM SPOT!" He was a Dalmatian! My mother was very unhappy because all she got me was $100. Once the party was over I went to my room. I could here mom and dad yelling at each other.. A few minutes later the door slammed. All of a sudden my mom came in my room and slapped me across the face! "YOU BITCH YOU MADE YOUR FATHER WALK OUT THE DOOR! HE WAS THE BEST THING THAT EVER HAPPENED TO ME! SO NOW IM GOING TO TAKE SOMETHING YOU LOVE FROM YOU!" She said as she took Spot! "NO MOM PLEASE NO DONT! HE'S TO YOUNG PLEASE PLEASE!!" I cried. She went downstairs and kicked the dog until he couldn't breath anymore! I ran to my room and cried. I saw her put him in the trash! I was horrified!!! A few weeks after my mom started beating me. She put me in the attic and made me do chores while she was with her boyfriend Jason. Jason would do horrifying things like rape me or beat me... So that brings me to the present
