*Althea walking into the Gaurdians meeting up after spending the whole night awake with anxiety and ptsd attacks*
Calypso~ Thea, the heck are you doing here? I told you to stay in bed and try sleep again
Althea~ *saunters over all wobbly*
I'm fine, I need to be hereCalpso~ You sure? Because you look like you're about to pass out
Althea~ Yeah.. Nevermind you might wanna catch me
*collapses in his arms*.
.
.*Nero and Calypso having some bro time in the woods a few days after the meet and he notices Calypso's eye for the first time as he flips his mane around*
Nero ~ Dude, how'd you get that scar?
Calypso ~ It's.. kind of a long story
Nero ~ We've got time
*flashback*
Calypso jumped and shoved his brother out of the way, just in time to feel Athena crash down on him full force. He was hit with the excruciating pain of her claws as she tore into his face while rolling over. Not noticing she had the wrong brother, blinded by her rage she grabbed him up by the wing with her ferocious fangs and flung him aggressively a few meters away. She pounced again and pinned him diwn. Only then, as she looked upon the almost unconcious body, she started coming to her senses and realizing what she had just done...
*end*
Calypso ~ Not enough time in the world, would make me ready to tell you...
.
.
.Calypso got to a little clearing in the forest, where the bright full moon was shedding some natural light. He was about to continue when the sounds of something approaching through the foliage startled him
Calypso~ Who's there! Show yourself
The figure padded around more, making noise as it appeared to now be behind him in the bushes
??? ~ First of all, this is my island, I give the orders round here. Second calm youself, I'm not here to harm you.
Calypso stood defensive as the figure emerged from the shadows, ready to fire a blast of magic.
??? ~ I don't know what the protocol is for revealing you're not dead after 7 years so... Hi? Surprise I guess?
Calypso ~ You.. It's you?
*runs and hugs her close*Althea ~ *sighs into hug* Yep... It's me..
.
.
.Now tied up alone in the dungeons, Althea barely bothered to raise her head as Callisto returned from releasing her cousins.
Althea~ How could you Cal... I trusted you! I could have sent you back home... but I let you stay
*her voice laced with bitterness and betrayal*Callisto laughed and walked over, lifting her head slowly to make her meet his eyes
Callisto~ Sweet, naive little Althea. Trust is for children. You, my dear are a warrior. You should know better, mighty Queen of Dragons.
*teasing venomous tone*.
.
.As the Order prepared for the upcoming battle, Delta could see the uncertainty on her brother's face. He stared out the window into the sunset, lost in thought.
Delta~ We will win this war, brother
Nero~ It's not the outcome I'm worried about right now...
Realisation struck her like a ton of bricks, reminded of the hit he had taken in the struggle with Callisto
Delta~ Oh... right. Heh, don't worry, I'll protect you
Nero~ I'm your big brother, That's my job
He smirks and ruffles her mane
Delta~ We're twins, fish brain
She laughs along with him
Nero~ Yeh, but I'm still older >:3

.Althea was thrown down infront of Callisto in the run down throne room. She slowly rose from the ground, despite the excruciating pain. She met Callisto's eyes, and realised he truly wasn't the same anymore. He was gone.
Althea~ Did we mean anything to you? This last year we've been through? Did I mean anything to you?!
Callisto circled her like a predator circling prey. When he spoke, his voice held no sympathy.
Callisto~ Things have changed. Things someone like you wouldn't understand Impure.
Althea was hit hard with that insult. It was what everyone who depised her used to call her when she was little.
He saw the change in her eyes. Now was his chance to get inside her head. He approached her slowly and lifted her head.
Callisto~ See? Join me, succumb to the darkness once again and we can make it right.
She pushed his paw away and growled as fierce as possible in her current physical state.
Althea~ I'd never join you! I'm not a villain... Not anymore!
Callisto~ I'm disappointed. You still see the world in black and white, villains and heroes, evil and good? It's all a matter of perspective Princess. I may be the villain to you yet a hero to someone else.
What you must ask yourself is...Am I the villain of your story? Or are you reading the pages of someone else's book..
.
.7 years had passed since Althea's death. 7 long ones for Calypso. As he sat in the middle of the bridge, his cousin Sarafina approached with concern. She sat beside him with caution, but he only gave a glance in her direction then continued to stare into the fog below.
Sarafina~ Cal, Apollo has been looking for you. You know Aunt is unwell and... He'll be passed the crown soon.
Calypso~ Yeah...I know, I know Sara.. Sorry I just... Tomorrow is... a full 7 years since and I just don't want to forget her. She was my best friend after all
He tried to muster up a smile to dispell her concern but, Sarafina could see him trying not to cry. After a moment, she spoke.
Sarafina~ Do you still miss her.. think about her?
Calypso sighed. He knew Sarafina and Althea were never really close, and Apollo hated her with all his being.
Calypso~ Heh, all the time. But you wouldn't understand...
.
.
.Calypso~ Ali... This is where you've been? For 7 whole years?
Althea~ Look Cal.. . I know you're mad, upset, betrayed? But I have a higher purpose here, you must understand that. I know its hard but-
He cut her off with a wave of his hoof
Calypso~No, no Ali you're right and I understand. It's just a lot to take in. These past 7 years have been tough for me. The family moved on from you just like that...
He paused and looked down in guilt
Althea~ And you...?
Calypso~ I thought that.. If I acted like your death didn't matter to me either... then it wouldn't...But you wouldn't leave my mind...
