Didn't See It Coming - Parachute
"Finally I was seeing everything so clearly
Took what I'd been thinking
and wished it away
I didn't see it coming"

Rosa opened the front door to their apartment slowly trying not to make a sound. She walked in quietly and closed the door behind her leaning her back against it while shutting her eyes. She let out a sigh. It's been a long 24 hours for Rosa and just now was the exhaustion cursing through her body.

"Mmh," she heard a male voice clearing their throat.

She abruptly opened her eyes and found green eyes on her. Alé was leaning against the counter in gray sweatpants and a maroon long sleeve with damp hair. Alejandro took a sip from his cup and raised an eyebrow at his twin sister. He ran his fingers through his hair as some of the damp hairs were sticking to his forehead.

"Still in last nights clothing, I see," he smirked. One of Alejandro's favorite things to do was tease his twin sister. And by the hint of red on her cheeks, he knew he accomplished just that.

"Deberias estar en clase, no?" Rosa composed herself trying not to seem fazed by Alé comment.

"As should have been you, Rosa Alicia." Alejandro leaned off the kitchen counter and walked over towards the couch to take a seat. He grabbed his gym bag that was to the side and started removing clothes from it setting it on the coffee table.

Rosa walked over and sat beside him. "huele esto, does it smell clean to you?" Alejandro shoved one of his practice lacrosse jerseys at Rosa's face.

"Gross, Alé! Get your wretched stench away from me," Rosa said almost gagging.

"Please, don't be so dramatic, Rosa Alicia." Alejandro rolled his eyes and took his jersey smelling it himself now. "Second thought, I'll put it in the wash pile."

Rosa watched as her twin cleaned out his lacrosse duffel bag a small smile appearing on her face. Slowly the small smile turned to a look of panic as she started fidgeting with her silver ring on her pinky finger. "Alé, are we good?"

The Valencia male stopped what he was doing and turned to look at his sister. He studied her for a moment. She almost looked nervous. Alejandro slouched his shoulders slightly, he felt a hint of remorse course through him. He never wanted his sister to behave this way around him. Alejandro had always made it so that she feels protected when he's near, not timid.

He straighten his shoulders again and leaned over putting his arm around her shoulder. Rosa laid her head against him. "Hermanita, we'll always be good. I know, I reacted a bit aggressive yesterday during our conversation but just be aware, I only reacted the way I did because I care about you. I don't want you getting hurt again. I wasn't there to protect you when Damon killed you and I just don't want to see you get roped into another dangerous situation if this Kai guy is bad."
