. . .
Surrounded by the endless space of darkness and stars, a white silhouette wearing what seems to be robes floated still on the deep open space. Their hair's length reached their ankles, their faceless figure angled forward towards a transparent ball on their open hands.
"Fascinated?" A deep male voice entered.
The figure turned, meeting a humanoid man. His hair reached his shoulder, his eyes shone yellow and he wore a robe that covered his body. His wings shone bright behind his back.
"Lumen..." A distorted voice left the figure's mouth. "What brings you here?"
"I've come to forge a deal." He said. "It concerns the Ravernals."
"I'm listening." They leaned forward. The subject of the Light Winged Country had always been at the back of the Gods' heads.
The Ravernal Empire was a controversial topic for the gods and the inhabitants of the world they once ruled. With an iron fist, they conquered the other species and brought them under their rule.
"I want you to summon these three countries." Lumen said. "In exchange..."

June 28, 2041, The Republic of the Philippines, Malacanang Palace
The President sat on his chair, behind his desk. A small rough sigh left his mouth. He leaned back on his chair, his mouth humming and his eyes closing shut. Being the President was much more difficult than he had first expected.
There was no arguing the situation out in the world was worsening each day. The disputes and tension in the South China Sea had tremendously risen, China was barring their fangs on Taiwan and the United States was focusing their forces and reinforcing Taiwan, Japan, South Korea and the Philippines, ready to intervene.
If War between China and the United States were to break out, his home would likely be at the front of it just like the rest of his pacific allies. With the strategic location of the Philippines and being a major US Ally in the pacific, it was inevitable for the country to be involved.
The Mutual Defense Treaty signed between the United States and the Philippines kept the latter safer but there was no denying that the treaty would have the Philippines be pulled to war against China, due to the fact it detailed that should both parties be attacked by an external party, both will aid and support each other.
He leaned back on his chair. He already voiced his support of the United States and challenged the Chinese 4 days after taking office. He supposed that was a terrible idea, now that the country has an even higher chance of facing a war more fatal than they experienced in World War 2 and battles that would often happen will be much more damaging than that of the Siege of Marawi.
He inserted his hand in his pocket, pulling his phone from it and pressing the home button. Its screen lit up bright in front of his face. He needed news regarding the situation. Upon looking at the top right of the screen, he realized the wifi was down.
"[What?]" He muttered. "[I could have sworn th-]"
A loud slam out of nowhere entered his ears and interrupted him. The door opened and one of his aides came through.
"[Mr. President! We have a major problem!]"
"[What is it, Nathan?]" He asked.
"[The people have been sending complaints. They're unable to contact anyone beyond the country and the wifi is down in every corner of the nation.]" His assistant replied. "[The issues don't stop there, sir. The embassies are demanding answers. Ambassador Oliver is unable to contact the United States on the continental mainland or the USFJ, USFK. The same is happening with the Japanese, South Korean and other embassies.]"
