Sun was bright and the birds chirping loudly outside the window. Pulling the duvet over her head for a few more minuets sleep before her phone rung. Slapping the cabinet to find the phone with a muffled voice
"Hello.... Yeah... yeah I'm awake... no no no I'll be there in time... alright bye" dropping her arm to side of the bed so her finger tips rested on top of the carpet
"I'm up... " With a moaning tone & Pulled on some leggings,curled the last few strands before leaving to meet everyone.
Clocking Ben stood nodding in the direction as Ali pulled into the car park.
"Your late missy" Clare yelled playfully
"No I'm not... I have 2 mins.. anyway Dans not here...." Laughing as she reached for her duffle bag.
"Speak of the devil" Ben pointed to the brand spanking new Range Rover pulling in
"See I'm not late" Ali stated again while adjusting her cardigan
"Alright get over here" Claire couldn't hug me quick enough
"Ready for the fun at the lodge?" Asking Claire
"Of course.. Like always.. it'll be fun hun"
For the last 3 years as a group they rented the lodge same time every year.. It's pretty and there's no noises except people laughing, walking, biking, horse riding, BBQing, water sports, So all in all peaceful!!
"Right Allie your taking who?" Tom started gathering everyone
"I don't mind but I can comfortably get 3 in mine" I stated as I checked my work emails
"Allie come on stop working" Claire gave that not impressed look
"Last time for a while" Dismissing her
"Well I can get 4 in mine" Dan said with that cocky grin
"Alright we can get 2 in... so Tom Sarah with us.. Dan you want to take Lucy & alex.. "
"Allie why don't you and Hayley come with me too you 3 girls will get in the back" Dan swiftly jumped in
"No it's fine we can go in mine.. I need my car anyway"
"I'll follow you to yours and leave your car at home it's fine" he always has a answer
"No I'm good I'm driving" with a short tone
"Okay... Hayley and Allie in hers then... right shall we get going" Tom slapped his hands together trying to get everyone going
"Ready!" Ali asked Hayley before going back to the car
"Roof down?"
"If you want" knowing she would ask that.

Summer breeze blowing through my hair as we belted down the motorway, Hayley turning the music up & I couldn't but enjoy the singing to the old school tunes. Remembering the old times!
"Gotta call Claire..."
"Why?"
"Need petrol... it's proper drinking it...... hello... Claire yeah I need to stop for petrol.... No no you guys carry on there's a station on next slip way... okay... huh? Hahaha old school tunes..... yeah yeah sweeeeettttt.... yeah will catch you up bye"
