(Azuka's POV)

It has been weeks since we started the work and I feel like Kaito and I have gotten closer somehow even though I have never been to his home which is ok but something bugs me a bit that Shadow has not stolen anything either which is odd that he would stop just as I get this work , could this mean that Shadow is in my class?? nah that does not matter and sounds so stupid.

One thing that does intrigue me is that how different Kaito is outside of school compared to inside, I mean inside he is this cold , emotionless none caring person who leads the boys by a flick of his eyes but outside he is funny , laughable and amazing which confuses me and reminds me when he called me Azuka-chan , could that have been his true self trying to come through.....I sigh and look to the stars as I get my outfit on and run out into the night having a feeling something is going to happen.

(West end of city , Kaito's POV)

I can't believe that the security in this town is so easy to get past and I am in a room where I see my grand prize , the ruby necklace with the chain being golden , its beautiful and its all mine to keep ha-ha it's just too easy these days for a thief.

Suddenly a disk comes flying at me as I have put the necklace in my trench coat inner pocket." aw princess we have got to stop meeting like this really." I pull out a naginata from my a case and I see she has a staff as well , this will be interesting.

" what are you doing Shadow you haven't stolen anything for weeks , why now?" she asks me while we clash and push each other back but I smirk at her and then jumps on a case knocking it down to pull out another naginata and run at her and we clash again.

" Oh princess you thought I would turn a new leaf didn't you and stop stealing, tut-tut what a unthinkable dream you have there princes . You know that will never happen." I say as I push he back and throw a smoke bomb on the floor and smashes through a window then starts running onto the rooftops where I believe I am scot free but nope I get a disk thrown at me again.

" Stop there Shadow Now!!" she shouts at me and we clash once more while we keep clashing for a while when I throw a chain around her legs and tie her up and smiles down at her as she struggles and then I put the necklace around her neck. "this suits you a lot princess , see ya." I say as I run of when I hear her shout." SHADOW , WAIT TIL I GET YOU!!!!" I chuckle to my self.

(Next day school , Azuka's POV)

All I feel my self do most of this day is mumble about last night I mean what was shadow playing at it's weird how he gives me the things he stole but he is something else which I can't put my finger on.

" penny for a thought." Says Kaito interrupting my train of thoughts and I smile and he smiles back a little , I guess that's the much I will get out of him in school till after when we get home.

"Sorry just last night something happened , but it does not matter really." I say smiling at him then we look back to the teacher who is teaching the lesson till I star doodling and I feel Kaito lean over me and I see him raise his eye brow. "What's the matter?" I ask him and he points to my doodling which is of my self in midnight outfit and Shadow.

" So I'm guessing you know one of them hmm or do you usually draw a thief and police helper kissing each other?" Kaito asks in a mocking tone and I blush deeply and look down at it then crumbles it.

"no-no-no it is nothing , really its nothing." I say waving my hands but Kaito looks like he's not buying it then the bell rings and I stand up looking at him." I'm going up to the roof , you wanna come?" I ask and he nods so we head up to the roof.
