Present

"I'm still here"

Sabi ko habang inaayos ang flower sa vase nandito pa rin ako sa restaurant. where, where he left me.

"Hindi na 'yun babalik." I whispered getting my things up.

Bored na bored ako hanggang sa nag patawag ang head na may meeting daw. Meeting na naman.

"Pst, meeting na. Biglaan kaya bilisan mo. Tang ina mo" Daisy muttered when i don't get up on my chair still working on my plates.

"Para saan?" Dahil kung wala rin namang kwenta ang meeting wag na.

"How would i know!?" She rolled her eyes on me. "but i heard.... The First Lady of the Philippines wants to be business partner with your parents? I guess?" My eyes winded. Putang ina kamalasan nga naman.

"Why the hell they need to be business partner with my parents at the first place," Napaisip ako. "Wala naman silang business!" Inis na sabi ko. Dinadala na naman ako ng kamalasan!

I'm having hard time finishing my works until my dad came into my office. He talks to me a bit and tells me to went on the meeting room.

I groaned.

"For fuck's sake" I whispered and continued walking towards the meeting room.

When i entered the laboratory of course the eyes on me.

"Miss President" My dad greeted me. I just turned my gaze on him and sit on my table.

The First Lady wasn't here.

We waited for a couple of minutes until my dad spoke.

"I honestly wanted to tell this but our cooperative lawyer Attorney Gomez still unconscious after being shot by the unknown person," I browse my eyebrows. "So in the mean time we should hire another lawyer, or we can just share to Miss First Lady if she's okay with it."

"Dad—" Mom stoped. I glared at her. "I mean Mr. Cecasio, We can hire Miss president as our cooperative lawyer since she study law and got passed the bar exam..." I glared at my mom.

The attention seeks in me. All of them were looking. I honestly think that being a lawyer is not even in my dreams, That i didn't think twice when i studied law because i got force to, My friends was a law student i had to be with them but they always telling me not to, To find my passion, But i don't have any. For me if the paths were really like this i had to get the goal, I don't think twice i will assuredly do it immediately. I'm a goal person who don't have dream to goal. I know everyone can't understand. Even me i don't understand why i'm like this. That i'm always at my goal but never really had a goal.

"I didn't get my license—" She stopped me, assuring that i'll get it in.

"But you have one, Miss president. Hindi mo lang pinirmahan but if you signed in, You are a lawyer, Just get a copy and signed the documents." She smiled at me. I unconsciously rolled my eyes and smile. "I aside on that, the firm already signed you as a lawyer but you never attended, you never show up after what happened."

"That's the goal. It's supposed to happen." I click my tounge, getting pissed. "And it's not that easy as you were said, Chief."

My mom was about to said something when the doors open, Showing up the secretary.

"Uh.. First Lady is already here." She exclaimed.

My dad stood up. They stood up. I remain on my seat. I'm not a disrespectful person but i guess it's too crowded if i stood up too. And i'm not the only one who remain in seats. The eldest too.

Bodyguards came up. I turned my gaze to the documents i held. They greeted her i also did.

Her eyes winded. I only smiled at her. The excitement came into her eyes.

She was about to say something when my dad spoke up and let her seat, Her eyes were into me. I tried to calm.

"I don't think we can do this at this time since our cooperative lawyer got shot, that's why he wasn't here." Dad start up. First Lady let out an elegant laugh. She turned to me.

"We can share an cooperative lawyer Mr. Cacesio, If it's okay with you Miss President." I arche my brows.

What does she means?

"Of course it is okay for me First Lady." I let out fake smile, getting curious.

"I don't thinks so... if you'll see him baka mag back out ka?" She said teasing me. I'm getting fucked up here what's happening. I tilt my head and turned my gaze to the papers.

"Dear..." I heard she called someone outside. I didn't look. A familiar smell. I stopped.

"Hmm?" Fuck.

"Anak, This is Miss President," Pag papakilala nito, hindi ko parin nililingon "Miss President this is my son Attorney Delville.." I stopped mid air. What the fuck. Why is he here? I could still remember everything.

Everything was so fast. He's standing infront of me.

Like everything is okay.

Like he didn't left me after he passed the bar exam.

I was many times asked myself.

What was wrong with me?

"Long time no see, Miss President."
