The doorbell rang, and Sachirō quickly ran towards the door expecting his older brother to arrive.

His mouth parted wide open seeing the unexpected visitor. It's Kourai.

"Aren't you gonna invite me inside your apartment, Hirugami?" the white haired spiker asked with a little frown.

"Aaah.. What.. What.. are you doing here, Kourai?! I mean.. come in!" Sachiro said flustered.

The former middle blocker didn't expect a visit from the person who rejected him during their High School... They remain friends after the confession, and rejection... but... It has never been the same.

Kourai is still playing volleyball, while Sachirō is currently a veterinarian now.

"Do you like coffee, tea, or soda? Do you want taiyaki or anything?" Sachirō asked as they sat opposite each other in the living room of Hirugami's small apartment.

"N.No.. No... I just dropped by to... you know .. catch up and rely a message from Mom." Kourai replied

"Ooooh. Okay.. So, what is it all about?" Sachirō asked curiously

"About Lola... You know Mom always wanted you to check on her daughter, right?" Kourai replied chuckling a little.
"She loves her more than she cares about me.."

"That ain't true Kourai.. You know she loves you... And you're also aware that Lola couldn't do anything on her own alone... I miss attending to her, too.. I could try visiting them some times if you like.."

"Yeah.. Mom said she only trust you to conduct check ups on Lola especially when she isn't well." Kourai explained shrugging his shoulders.

"Okay.. I've got plenty of day offs from my shifts this coming weeks, maybe I could put her on my schedule." Sachirō informed and smiled a little.

"Thanks. Well then.. I'll go on ahead, Sachi... I mean Hirugami..." Kourai stood from the couch and bowed his head..

"Ah.. Wait.. You just arrived! Are you busy? I mean.. You said you wanted to catch up... We could grab lunch together... if you're available..." Sachirō said expectantly...

He knew Kourai has the tendency to refuse... but after all this time.. he hasn't move on from the spiker... Sachirō still wants to date his former teammate.

"Aaaah!!! Great!! I'll just grab my jacket... wallet, and car key... wait for me...." Sachirō replied excitedly running towards his room.

Few seconds later, Fukurō Hirugami entered the house carrying bags of groceries.

"Ooooh!!!!! Kourai?!? What.. What are you doing here?!?" Fukurō gasped seeing his teammate sitting on the couch

"I.. Ah.. visited Sachirō... to consult about our dog, Lola."
