- FIVE YEARS LATER -

"That's what I'm saying!"
"I know, but what if we at least tried?" The poor wedding planner tried.
"No!" Axel and I said in unison.
"Okay, okay. Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"So, Mr. Turner will not be attending?"
"Definitely not." I said through pursed lips. Axel grabbed my hand and I smiled gently at him.
"Shall we look at-" The wedding planner was interrupted by a knock on the door.
"I'll get it!" Avery shouted from the kitchen.
"Anyway, as I was saying, do we both know what layout we would like in the hall after the ceremony?"
"Yes, in both the church and the hall we want to save a place for Amaya, right next to Avery, if that's okay?" Axel asked politely.
"Aiden, it's Riley, we'll be back in an hour." Avery called.
"Okay, be safe!" Axel yelled back.
"Sorry about that," I smiled awkwardly. "Let's continue."

"Why did we ever decide to get married?" I joked.
"Because you love me." Axel laughed back.
"Seriously, why didn't we just have a small ceremony?"
"Because big is beautiful. Can we stop with the questions now?"
"Yes, love." I fiddled with my ring, gazing at it with wonder. When I looked up, I saw my soon-to-be husband staring at me, an unmistakable sparkle in his eyes. I smirked. "What?"
"You're so perfect." his eyes were all over my face, then my body, then my face again.
"You're right, I do love you." I edged towards him slowly and kissed him gently. Quickly, his cheeks flushed pink. Suddenly, my mind flew back to mine and his first kiss. I shivered with the thought of Amaya's dead body; it was insane how much I still missed her. The moment was ruined by Avery bursting through the front door; she was back much sooner than we anticipated.
