AN: So I got this idea after I decided to rewatch Chicago Fire and start the whole One Chicago universe over. What if Hank hadn't tried to put a hit out on Casey after the wreck that Justin was in? What if he had a daughter and she and Justin were hurt in the accident caused by someone else? Only character I own is Alessia and Daja, Chief Boden's daughter.
The sound of two teenage girls laughing filled the apps floor as Casey looked up to see the Chief's teenage daughter, Daja and her best friend, Alessia coming in after practice that morning. They were still dressed in capris and cropped shirts.
"Hey, is dad in?" Daja smiled, seeing Casey watching them approach. "Uh, yeah...dealing with Gabby...they threatened to write her up over saving a kid." He told them, making the brunette frown.
"She's Antonio's sister, right?" She asked. "Yeah, you know him?" Casey frowned, making her smirk. "I do...I've babysat for him a couple times; my dad is a cop." Alessia smiled. "Really, what does he do?" Casey asked, making them smile. "He's been in the gang unit since I was a baby...spent the last few years running it...doing the work of a sergeant without the rank." Alessia smiled, making him nod. "Ah...so, will you be hanging out here?" Casey asked. "Probably for a bit...my brother is coming with me this evening to the gym...he decided that he hasn't spend enough time with his kid sister." Alessia smirked, making Daja laugh.
"You mean since your daddy yelled at him for hanging with those thugs." Daja smirked. "Yeah...Tavion said that he had to stop Justin from taking a swing at them for smack talking me and Vonte." She replied, making her laugh. "I believe it...you know, as much as they act like they don't get along, they do...they both give guys the dark looks when they're checking you out." Daja told her, making her laugh. "The epic bromance." Alessia grinned, making her giggle as Boden came out.
"There are my girls." Boden smiled, making them look up. "Daddy...are you coming to practice in the morning?" Daja smiled, as he hugged her. "I am for a bit...Alessia, I heard you took a spill." Boden said, seeing her bandaged knee.
"Yeah, Erin and I went jogging in the park, wiped out in front of the police academy and the recruits there." She mumbled as he chuckled. "That isn't fun...will your father be coming as well?" Boden asked. "Yeah, he has a SATCOM meeting and then he'll be over." She smiled.
"Heard there were some future Olympians in the house." Shay smiled, making them turn. "Hey." Alessia smiled. "Hey girl...staying off that knee?" She asked, hugging the brunette. "As much as I can...dad and Coach Winters are going at it...he wants me to do the Chenko and dad wants me to not for a couple weeks, just to let this sprain heal." Alessia told her.
"What did your doctor say?" Casey asked. "He said that I should ice it and gave me a cortisone shot...not that it helps but it will get me through to the next competition." Alessia sighed. "Isn't that dangerous?" He frowned. "It can be...but as of right now, I can't afford to be hurt right now...Nationals qualifications are in a week." Alessia told him. "Geez...how long have you been doing gymnastics?" He asked.
"Since they were three...its how Alessia and Daja became friends...they started the same day...before it was her mother who would spend all day with them at the gym...Camille was the gym mom...always had snacks and drinks for the kids." Boden said, making Alessia smile softly. "What happened to your mom?" Casey asked, making her sigh.
"Mama died from a relapse of ovarian cancer when I was twelve...my dad has raised me and Justin on his own." Alessia told him, making him nod as a brown crown Victoria pulled up. "Speak of the devil." Daja said, making her smirk as Boden rolled his eyes.
