An Ominous Mistake

NARRATOR POV:

Well, I left off last time at, What else could potentially go wrong? Well, it could go wrong in a thousand different ways, such as bankruptcy, dying and losing your cash, getting your money stolen, and overspending, I mean, Zoe can't possibly overspend all her beloved money, she's the GOD of Money, so I think that she'll just have all that snazzy toat bucks and $$$ rolling in, even when she goes broke, that cash machine of hers will just keep going and going, like Izzy's brother's mouth (no joke, my brother talks a lot), But there's one possibility, not even ALBERT EINSTEIN would think that would occur, it is hate and jealousy. Let me tell you a bit about it.

It was another day that more mula rolls in and just the God of Money, doing her duties and hard at work. The God of Time walked up to Zoe's palace and they had a normal conversation, yet something hinted that The God of Time knew something about Zoe's prized possessions and lucky fortune. The God of Time was very keen in fortune-telling, but of course, The God of Time wasn't an imbecile and instead, he kept it to himself, waiting for Zoe to find out about the bad fate that lies down there. They were just chatting and having a jolly, merry time. Drinking chamomile tea and eating Zoe's handmade PB&J. The God of Time and The God of Money had a nice chat and The God of Time became the first god friend of Zoe, apart from Rincod, the main God. After they farewelled and left, Zoe just spent the rest of the time in her room, hard at work, until dinner was served, it was the most expensive set of sushi fresh in a wooden bento box. She then received a call from Karis.

"Hi Zoe, can you lend us some money?"

"No sorry, I'm on my grind and plus, I have my own duties to do and I'm busy."

"Oh okay, understandable." Karis answered.

"Sorry for the inconvienience" Zoe apologized, in a sorry tone.

"It's alright, bye" Karis hung up and the call was done.

Zoe thought about what she said to Karis repeatedly, if she was being honest, she was completely lying, she wasn't busy, since she got her efforts done before the call. Karis somehow knew it was a white lie, but he didn't mind, and he was to lazy to, it was nighttime anyways. The God of Love bursted into Zoe's palace in a melancholy manner.

"Ohhh!" She moaned in pain and sorrow

"Oh dear! What's wrong?" She cried out worriedly to her god accquiantance.

"My powers are feeling very weak and I'm in huge pain, because of YOU!!"

"Why me?"

"Did you see what you just did to Karis?"

"What?" Zoe replied, pretending she didn't know

The God of Love yelled angrily "DO YOU REALIZE THE SIGNIFICANCE OF THAT LIE?"

"Wait what?" Zoe answered, now feeling a bit ashamed of her actions.

"You almost ruined their marriage, it was completely fine, they were both happy and loving." The God of Love explained

"And?" Zoe said, wanting the god to continue on.

"Karis knew you were lying, she told Izzy and Izzy got mad at Karis for not telling her earlier, they had a heated argument, This nearly ruined their adorable love, their cute romance, their dream marriage that they were supposed to HAVE TOGETHER, ALL BECAUSE OF YOU! Although Izzy and Karis are cooled down now, it's better to apologize to them sincerely."

"Okay jeez, chillax, I will sincerely apologize to them."

The God of Love cooled down a bit, she gathered herself up, and then she continued

"Good, because if you do not apologize by tomorrow, their love will not heal, their engagement will be broken off, and I will slowly die."

Zoe thought in her mind, one side was thinking Why should I apologize to them? I am happy with my money, plus love isn't my type of thing. The other side of her mind was thinking, oh well, have some mercy on them, just apologize and get this through and their love will be healed, and I won't hurt a fellow god buddy. She thought this for hours and finally, she apologized to Karis, the God of Love was healing as quick as a speeding car and Izzy and Karis were once again, a loving, adorable couple where little to nothing stood in their path. Their marriage was saved at last. Zoe had a hard time sleeping that night because The God of Love had been there for hours on end and she couldn't stop thinking about what she should do for the next 3 hours, by then it was 12:07 am and she was very exhausted and tired because of her duties, she brushed her teeth and did her usual routine, she went off to bed and said "Good night" to the stars in the pretty night sky.
