One bed and three boys? What was our teacher thinking?!
"He told us there was only one bed when you were in the shower" Caleb explained. "I think you should put some clothes on before we figure out where everyone's sleeping".
Crap! I was still in just a towel. I laughed and nodded before practically running to my duffel bag and bringing it to the bathroom. I changed into my pajamas and left to discuss with the boys.
As I walked back into the room, Caleb and Nick seemed to be arguing about the bed situation with annoyed expressions. "Why can't I get the bed" Nick whined.
"Ryder just showered and you expect him to sleep on the floor", Caleb argued as he turned to see me enter the room, "Ok Ryder you're sleeping in the bed tonight, I'll sleep on the floor, Big Baby Nick can sleep on the couch"
He'd sleep on the floor for me? What a gentleman. "Is that ok with you, Ryder?"
"Oh yea that's fine thank you"
"Great", Caleb smiled and Nick nodded along. We all moved to our assigned sleeping spots and started getting ready to sleep. While getting ready for bed, I started wondering what it would be like if we were all sleeping together. How close we would be. How much we'd be touching. How weird, but strangely perfect it would be in the morning...
I snapped out of thoughts when I heard Caleb's soft snores from the ground below me. I could feel butterflies from just how close both of them were to me. They were in the same room as me! Sleeping as if there was no feeling whatsoever. I texted Laney to tell her i probably won't be texting Grace any time soon, these boys had me wrapped around their fingers. Laney responded with a laughing emoji and I smiled. It was nice knowing someone knew just how I felt. I finally dozed off to the majestic sounds from Caleb's snores.
