Astrid woke up today with a strange feeling. It had been a while since she had seen her friend Heather and she was quite lonely today... Normally she would spend time with Hiccup and the rest of the dragon riders but today seemed different. Instead of doing the same things with the guys she had an idea. She grabbed a quill and a piece of parchment to write on. 'Dear Heather, it has been quite a while since we have last seen each other. I miss you being here and I was wondering if you wanted to meet somewhere and spend the day together, From Astrid.' She sent the paper off by terror mail. And waited for a response, a few days later she finally received something. 'Dear Astrid I was excited to have gotten your letter, I was wondering where we could meet and when we could meet I would like to see you as soon as possible, From Heather.'

Astrid quickly responded where and when to meet. She went to the stable. "Hi Stormfly ready to see Windshear and Heather" Astrid said to her dragon. After they had gotten set up they were off to the island they were going to meet at. "I'm excited to see Astrid," Heather excitedly told her dragon. Windshear cooed in agreement. Finally both had gotten to the island and landed; they didn't quite notice the other since they had arrived on different sides. Stormfly picked up a scent and carried Astrid to the other side of the island. "What is it girl?" Astrid asked. "Hi! Astrid it's so nice to see you again" Heather called and jumped off her dragon. "Heather!" Astrid called and both girls embraced one another.
