"Mama! Wake up!" you heard a tiny voice scream as he plops himself onto your sleeping figure.

You had him then trapped in your arms and legs as you ignore the alarm sound on your phone that snoozed at least three times now.

"Five more minutes Daiki~"

"See you later baby! Mama loves you" you give the toddler a kiss on his cheek, to which he returned back.

"His babysitter will pick him up today as usual" You advised one of the teachers at the kindy. The toddler waves goodbye as you get out of his classroom, a smile plastered on his face.

I got this.

Today is your first day at your new job.

After a year of working in a hospital rehabilitation centre, you decided you want to do something else. You work as an exercise physiologist and you've always been into sports, so when you saw the job advertisement—you did not hesitate.

"Advertising for Athletic Trainer for a Division 1 Volleyball Team"

You didn't know exactly which team it was for, but the job description appeared attractive to you. The salary package was quite appealing, and definitely more than what you are making right now. The job is also based in Tokyo, which is good for you. But most of all, it was a Monday to Friday job, it does require a bit of flexibility and travel during the weekdays but you didn't mind it. It was a lot better than shift work and you can finally have a weekend routine with your little one.

A few days after the interview, you received a call from the team manager, advising you that you got the job—and you can start once you hand in your notice, which is two weeks for you if you hand in that resignation today.

You start your new job today as the in-house athletic trainer for Division 1 League Volleyball Team, MSBY Jackals.

The recruitment team did not disclose the team you will be working with until the final process stage of the recruitment process, which you found reasonable—the MSBY Jackals have a crazy lot of fans, a lot of female ones especially.

You do know a bit of info about the current line-up, after all, you were in high school too when the Monster Generation rose to fame, but also, you dated him—one of those volleyball idiots.

The next season starts in six months and the management had decided to ramp up the exercise plan, to which you had to do draft a proposal as part of the interview and screening process.
