Mlp-the new pony (fan fic)

This is my first fan fic so plz just comment thoughts but nothing hurtfull. I am a new pegasister (its been about a week) so im only at season 3 episode 10 at the moment. This is a twist on the series they are still ponies but some things are different.

Its the day! What day u may ask, well its the day where ponies everywhere welcome the newborns. This year there were even twins! One was called Rarity and the other Priceless. Rarity had a purple mane, a white coat and is a unicorn. Priceless was different, she had light pink hair, a white coat and was born an alicorn. The parents of the children were bewildered when they saw Priceless, they decided it best to give their pony to princess Celestia so that she could raise Priceless as a princess.

When Celestia got Priceless she decided to change her name to Shimmer, because the little fillies hair shimmered in the sun. The princess grew to love the filly as her own and no one knew that the young girl was the twin of Rarity.

A few years later when they were a bit older, Twilight Sparkle went to do her test and amongst the judges was little Shimmer. Shimmer watched in awe as she realized that another pony was as good as her in magic. As Shimmer saw her mom (she considers Celestia her mom) walk in the room she rushes to her side. She saw the little filly that was about her age get excited and decided to jump with her, little did she know her mom was gonna teach her too.

After a few years Twilight and Shimmer became great friends even best friends. Then she noticed that twilight left to go to ponyville, and got very sad. But it was time her mom taught her some great tricks about flying so Shimmer quickly got happy again, but she missed all the good times she had with Twilight.

When Princess Celestia saw that Shimmer was doing good with the exercises she decided that she should go to Ponyville as well and join Twilight in the quest of learning about friendship and secretly training to be a princess.
