Chapter 8:The beginning of a battle.

I went to go find Daki I needed to know if Zenitsu was going to be ok. I looked everywhere but I just couldn't seem to find her. I couldn't even find anyone who knew where she was. What exactly is going on here?

I had a feeling something was about to go down so I needed too figure it out fast. Jesus the one time I don't run into Gyutaro when I needed him the most.

"Heyo," I heard a voice call me from behind. I turned around could it be?

Of course it was him. Riyuku the person I wanted to see the least.

"What do you want?" I asked him.

"Wow not even a hello," he said pretending to be hurt. "Anyways I saw your boyfriend's sister getting beat up by this kid so you better go help one of them," He informed me.

With that he left. "Freaking asshole leaving me with that information and not even a hint where this is happening I guess I should just look for explosions and that kind of stuff," I thought to myself.

Right on cue I heard a huge explosion (Just kidding I heard Tanjiro's loud ass coughing)

I kept running searching desperately for Tanjiro if he dies it's on me it will be my fault for falling for a demon. I heard a loud crash I started running faster I just hope that's not Tanjiro.

Turns out it wasn't Tanjiro thankfully. It was this girl with a bamboo muzzle. (She hasn't met Nezuko btw). I looked to my right and saw Tanjiro he was heavily injured and Daki seemed to be winning for now.

The girl got up slowly and regenerated her lost limbs. Am I seeing this correctly a demon fighting another demon to protect a human. The demon started to brutally attack Daki over and over again what should I do I know the right thing to do is to not get involved...but at the same time it doesn't feel right to just watch them do this to each other like it's a show of some sorts.

The demon girl got her limbs and head cut off buy Daki is this the end for her I know demon can't kill each other but what if she can't regenerate in time to escape the sun. Almost immediately after she got chopped up she released pink flames from her blood and almost completely burned Daki to a crisp.

She reattached herself quickly and continued fighting even though it was incredibly one sided. Above me a wooden beam broke off and hit me on the head and I blacked out for a second. When I woke up they were all inside one of the houses and the girl was crying I went over to Tanjiro it turns out they were siblings she then started to shrink into the form of a child. It made me wonder how much Tanjiro had been through along with his sister Nezuko.

I didn't realise until now but a man with white hair had appeared and had chopped off Daki's head. He was confused as to why she wasn't disintegrating I knew the answer but I couldn't betray them like that even though their demons.

Daki started crying and talking about how she really was an uppermoon the hashira however did not believe her at all. He was saying she was too weak.

"ONI-CHAN~," Daki screeched she was calling Gyutaro now this was not going to end well.

Right on cue he emerged from behind her the hashira rushed towards him ready to strike but Gyutaro dodged it easily.

He started comforting Daki crying state. He then turned round to face us he looked me in the eyes for a second and then resumed his position.

The hashira then threw some miniature balls which I assume were bombs at Gyutaro. I ducked down bracing myself for impact. Gyutaro got out practically unscathed Daki however didn't. She got hit by them and started getting angry again.

While she was whining I turned around to see Inosuke and Zenitsu out side trying to get in but failed as the explosions kept sending them back.

Tanjiro started trying to help the hashira he ran towards him in an attempt to chop his head off. Gyutaro responded with almost killing him but luckily the hashira saved him I think his name is Uzui.

Suddenly the floor broke because as a result of all the fighting. I fell down with it but I caught myself by grabbing onto a piece of wood dangling off of the broken floor. Tanjiro however wasn't as lucky but regained he composure quickly.

Daki and Gyutaro started talking about how they could never figure out how to chop off their heads and many slayer had failed before.

"Even if you do figure it out you won't be able to do it anyway," Daki said confidently to Tanjiro, Uzui and myself. Knowing that I wouldn't tell the others how to do it I just hope they figure it out before it's too late.

Just then another explosion was let off I was almost blown away by it but a pair of arms grabbed me it was Gyutaro. He quickly made his way too the roof of one of the buildings that was untouched by Daki's and Tanjiro's fight. He left me there and immediately rushed back to the fight.

I couldn't see anything from this distance I need to get closer. I felt so useless I can't just stand here but I can't just rush in to help if I join one side I betray the other and it's not like I can make them become friends no matter how much they trust me it would never work out.

For now my main goal is to get somewhere safe but also somewhere I can see the fight. I think for now I need to help the civilians near by. While searching I spotted a women on top of as well is she trying to help?

Hello everyone I know I said I would have this chapter out sooner but what happened was I wrote It but forgot to publish it. Next up Chapter 9: What I can do for now.

Also how do you feel about 2 alternative endings?
