the breeze of the ocean hair hit my face i smiled in pleasure while my hair flipped side to side . i splash my feet in the cold water making a trace in the sand when i felt some warm pair of hands wrapping around my waist

kevin: you look so beautiful right now y/n
i smiled as he pressed his face against mine
y/n: i knowwww
i giggled as he turned me around so i was facing him
my smile faded just by a thought
y/n: kevin.. i get married in a few weeks
kevin: what a way to ruin the moment, but do you really have too?
y/n: my mom is basically making me .
kevin: but it's your life, i know that boy is in your level but why can't we just leave far far from here and live our life's together

i turn around to look back at the ocean
y/n: i can't- i can't just leave my parents here
kevin grabbed me by the hips and turned me around
to face him again
kevin: y/nnnnnn
i notice a tall statue walking far behing kevin i focus my eyes on them

kevin turns around and his face drops

kevin: i'll go talk to him

gabe: so is this what we're doing now?
i walk over to him and give an awkward smile
y/n: look gabe im really sorry, but all this time my mom has been manipulating me and there was a point where i didn't know what to do-
gabe cuts you off and coughs

gabe: i get it y/n you're in love with another man.
y/n: wha- no- i mean yes but look you're a great guy it's just i don't know i'm just all over the place.
gabe:if that's what you want ..
he walks away while i stand there holding my tears in, not bc i was sad i was just so mad at myself .

she yells with her high pitched rough voice
alejandro: si mama?
your mom: where is your sister? we need to talk about La boda.
she sits in a white fluffy chair next a black wooden table crossing her legs
Alejandro: No lo se madre, but you do realize how much money we're gonna have when she marries that guy.
your mom: shh! shhh! callate, callate remember that you're dad knows nothing about this .

Alejandro:  Is he her-
you interrupt as you open the front door
y/n: i'm homeeeeee
you throw your keys in the fruit bowl by the door that you could care less about
your mom: Mija en donde estabas?! we need to talk about the wedding enragement

your mom: what? what's so funny do you wanna share it with me and your brother?
she crosses her arms lifting up one of her eyebrows

y/n: there's no wedding.
your mom: there's no what??

your mom: you're funny white or beige what do you think ale?
alejandro: white mami-
you interrupt
y/n: i'm being serious. Me and gabe talked it out and there's no wedding
your mom laughs sarcastically
alejandro: you deadass rn?

your mom: Y/n are you stupid?
y/n: i don't wanna marry him
your mom: you don't wanna marry him?! y/n after all i did ? You most be psycho no? he was gonna take us out our debts
y/n: i'm sure dad has enough money he's one of the most important persons in the city.
Alejandro: you must be living under a rock because dad has been struggling with money.
your mom: y/n tell me that he was the one that choose not to marry you. right now
she starts getting mad hitting the table as she spoke
y/n: Mom im in love with another man.
your mom starts to heavy breath tightening her fists
alejandro: mami calm down

your mom: how could you be so fucking stupid?!
she slaps you across the face and leaves you holding your check and fixing your hair

I'm y/n sanchez and you just read a short glance of what's going on in my life. i met kevin 7 months ago at the beach and ever since we've been meeting up there at 2pm. But lately my parents have been struggling with money. my dad is one of the most important and powerful Men in my city, you're probably like "then why are you struggling for money the fuck". my mom and my brother love spending money to spend. my brother has always been a mamas boy and a brat. he's spoiled to the max and gets mad when things don't go his way. And let's not talk about my mom cause she's the exact same A brat. god forgive me for talking bad about my family but i just can't stand them. The only person i truly trust and love is my dad he's always been so supportive and been there for me in every sort of way, he's the main reason why i don't run away with kevin.
