She was happy. Every day she woke up with a big smile on her face. Sometimes she thinks about being a hero. But she was all alone in the world. No friends, no family, no one was with her. But is a wonderful world, so she didn't have to be scared. Not ever a little. one day she woke up coughing. something was wrong whit her. She didn't know what it was. it was like someone tried to kill her. She looked wildly around, but didnt see anyone. She lay back down and tried to fall asleep. When she finally fell asleep, she dreamed of someone who tried to save her from a thief. But at the moment that the boy came, the thief had stolen everything and had killed her. The next morning she woke up whit blood on her hands. There was somebody laying next to her on the ground. She looked at the man and saw a knife in his body. While she was looking at the knife, she saw letters on it. She took the knife whit one hand and pulled it out of the body that was laying on the flour. now, she could read the words on the knife: "Vulpes pilum mutat, non mores".

Something shook her awake. She sat up startled and reached for the knife that was always on her nightstand, but someone stopped her. She stopped herself from punching Sky in the face. He sat next to her on her bed and held her two hands in a strong grip. "Everything okay?" he asked her. "Yes," Alexa replied quickly and gently pulled her hands back. She felt heavy that it seemed she was being pulled through her bed and onto the floor. "What are you doing here?" she continued. "I heard you screaming and ran down your hallway..." Sky began. "You guys?" "Yes, yours and Jane's..." He moved slightly to the side so she saw Jane standing against the wall with a pale face. "I couldn't get you to wake up so I ran to Sam, but he wouldn't open the door so I just walked to the boys' hallway and went to get Sky. I didn't know what else to do. I mean: you're completely covered in sweat and it looked like you were killing yourself in your sleep." Jane looked at Alexa with a broken face that made Alexa look away. "Are you okay?" asked Sky. "You seem really upset." He took her face in his hand and turned it toward him. Alexa was looking straight at him now. "I'll just go back to sleep," Jane said in a hushed tone, walking out of the room and closing the door behind her. "I don't know what's going on Sky. Everything is just going wrong lately," Alexa said after Jane closed the door. She had been having strange dreams for three weeks in a row where she was murdered in a dream, then woke up and killed someone. The only one who knew about her dreams was Sky. She hadn't said anything to anyone. She didn't want to cause anyone any trouble. She didn't know what was wrong with her. "Lately I've been having some kind of outbursts too," she told him. "Breakouts?" asked Sky. "Yeah, like black holes in my memory that I can't fill..." "Take a good look at me," Sky said. "I think you just need to believe in yourself for once." "You don't understand Sky," said Alexa. "I think I do understand just the same. Tomorrow Emma will come here and join us on the team, without us wanting to. But do I look like I care?" "No, but that has nothing to do with it," Alexa began, but Sky interrupted her, "I think it does. I know people make mistakes, but they can also get fixed. And no, I'm not saying you're making mistakes. I'm just saying we should just go to tomorrow and talk about it more tomorrow." He looked at Alexa with an oblique smile. "It really has nothing to do with it, though," Alexa said. "True, I just didn't know what else to say to make you right again," Sky replied. "You've been stuck with this problem for over three months now. Isn't it time to talk to someone about it?" "No," Alexa replied shortly. Sky had been telling her all week that she should go talk to someone about it, but she didn't want to. "Okay then," said Sky. "No arguments?" asked Alexa a little surprised. "Nope, it doesn't help anyway," Sky replied. "True," said Alexa with a small grin on her face. Sky bent over to Alexa and kissed her. When he pulled back he asked, "Everything okay now?" "Yeah," Alexa said. "Then go back to sleep," Sky said. "See you tomorrow." He kissed her again and then walked out of the room. "See you tomorrow," Alexa said before Sky walked out of her room and closed the door behind her. She lay back down and closed her eyes. She dreamed about something happy again for the first time in three months. She dreamed about a wide full of flowers. She lay next to Sky on her back in that wide. They laughed and took turns saying what animal they saw in the clouds. Sky turned to her and looked at her with a wide smile. Alexa turned her head to the side to look at him. She lay down closer to Sky. Sky rolled over onto his side so he could kiss her. She moved closer to him out of reflex and kissed him back. for the first time in a long time she was happy again and wished it could be like that forever. But in the back of her mind she knew it couldn't be, that it wasn't possible...
