Soft groans started to slowly fill the room as a small clock began to beep louder than ever and the sun rose on the horizon, the sheets on the bed began to move as the person under them woke up.
She started the morning with a huge dislike towards moving and the strong need to forget about the day and just stay on her bed under the sheets and continue to sleep, but ,of course, she couldn't just throw away her job on the doctors office, since she knew that the he would become a literal mess of papers and patients if she wasn't there helping him.
But still, she hated mornings, she deeply, truly, disliked them, each morning she felt awkward, dizzy, and every single time she woke up with a piercing pain on her back, near her right shoulder, and today was not the exception.
The young gal slowly sat on her small bed and yawned several times as an attempt to push away the laziness of her body, it didn't work certainly, but she managed to remain seated, effectively ignoring the urge to crawl under the warm sheets once more and go back to sleep.
After several seconds of staring at nothing, while feeling desperately tired, she finally gave up and got up of her bed.
The first thing that she noticed once she placed a foot on the floor was that her hair was a literal mess, her blond locks where awkwardly arranged at random places around her head, giving her a look slightly similar to a lion, plus, the words "I just woke up" described perfectly her face.
With slow, soft and clumsy movements she walked to a large mirror she had on her room and began to comb her hair with a purple brush that her mother gave her a few years ago, it was now a routine for her to sit in front of the mirror before and after showering, because an eccentric neighbour once told her that that helped to maintain a "healthy and beautiful hair". The gal didn't exactly knew why she believed her neighbour, since yesterday she told her that in order to keep wrinkles away she had to rub a raw carrot and a partially cooked strawberry around her face.
The young lady was sitting on a chair and absently staring at her reflection as she passed the brush on her hair, her mind was thinking on several other things, until she realised for the second time that she really had to work.
She quickly got up but immediately regretted it, since she got a bad headache that lasted for a few seconds, but right when it faded she ran towards her wardrobe, jumping over the pillows that were scattered all over the floor and begging not to trip with something.
The grey cotton dress she used to sleep was elegantly flowing with the wind that entered through the window as she was searching inside her wooden closet, looking for a specific red dress that she liked a lot, and, when she found it she carefully placed it on her bed, like it was the most precious thing she had.
When she entered the bathroom she took of her childish bunny sandals and her pale grey dress and then she entered the shower, the warm water was gently flowing through her hair, face and skin, to finally end up on the floor. somehow the hot water relaxed her entire body and made her forget about her troubles and difficulties of the previous day that she'll had to handle today.
Of course all those thoughts came back once she stepped out of the shower.
When she finished to wash her body and untangle her hair, she pushed the handle, thus giving an end to her shower. Then, she wrapped a towel around her hair and used another to dry her body to finally wrap herself with a third towel in order to get out of the bathroom.
She let out a short curse once she opened the door, because her room was as cold as a fridge to her body, but after getting comfortable with the temperature, she put on her clothes and began to admire herself without the need of a mirror.
