The village was buzzing today, and It wasn't because of the people around you.

You waved your hand around your head, shooing away the gnats that got a little too close for comfort. It was the early hours of the morning and the heat was already starting to make it's unruly appearanc-

"You herd of soul-less evildoers!"

You were pulled out of your thoughts as you heard the sound of someone shouting, looks like another one of god's "prophets" was at it again. You used the term prophet loosely as you watched the small red-headed man begin to go at it.

"Great balls of fire and terrifying lightning bolts shall rain from the heavens, and you will cringe with fear in the deep dark halls of hell-!"

Aaaaaand you tuned him out.

Along the pathway of the village bazaar, walked you and four other men. Your kind Uncle Noah, Who wore a light brown cloth robe and sported a big bushy grey beard that was tied into a knot at the end. And your clueless but well meaning cousins, The oldest Japheth, a tall and well-built man. The second-oldest Shem, was big, friendly, and rotund. And the youngest, Ham, was short and thin, although his feisty nature was more than enough to make up for it.

Noah shook his head at the small man's display. "These "prophets" only end up confusing the people with their apocalyptic prophecies, I wonder what god would say of he were to hear them....?"

You were surprised that Noah just straight up didn't have the answer. If God was to talk to anybody directly, it had to be Noah.

"Uncle Noah?" You questioned as you brushed by a large, blond man in a toga while lightly delivering an "Excuse me, sir." to him. "What are we doing at the bazaar again?" Noah had come to You for help in moving some of his farm produce to trade to "Farfan" And you had to resist the urge to ask if he knew just who he was doing business with, but you didn't really have the heart.

Anyways, if the man needed help, then you were more than happy to offer a hand.

[........]

"But Farfan. You had said that with this last delivery, the debt had been satisfied!"

Your toes dug into your shoes, Farfan was nothing short of vile. And if his swindling heart wasn't enough, his puke colored skin was more than enough to prove his true nature. The mere sight of the man was enough to make your stomach churn, how could he take advantage of a man as kind as Noah?

"But the price of grain has gone down." Farfan said as convincingly as possible, his wife watching on with a toothy, trouble-making smile. "But...." His wife added on. "What's important now is that it's paid in full..... so you can......"

"Go back into debt again!" The couple made in hell said in unison.

"Tch." You clicked your tongue in frustration. "Does Noah even realize that he's being swindled? Or is he just too nice to say anything?"

Japheth shook his head. "Hmmn.....It's not really our choice to make. Father's always been this way."

Noah quickly concluded his "business" with Farfan. And you would have been on your way back if Noah hadn't taken notice of the man that was trapped in a cage for show, he wore a simple loincloth and had tanned skin Noah, without so much as a second thought, quickly paid for the man's release.

What a guy....

[...........]

The pudgy white bird huffed as he pierced the clouds with his form. His wings flapped tirelessly as he bobbed and weaved his way trough branches and vines. He moved at an increased pace as he had to pick up the slack from his lazy as hell "friends."  Valentino squinted his eyes as his sucked in his gullet, ready to slide in through the window that was right in front of him. He held his wings against him and....
