Pen always regarded Saw as a mysterious one. She disappeared during the day and always rejected arranged marriages. It frustrated their father, but he tried to calm down.
"Father, why won't Saw accept any marriage candidates you show her?" Pen's curious but slightly sorrow voice echoed in the dark, hollow area of the palace. "Son, she's gonna accept at least one when she grows up. I'm probably going too hard on her while she's 17." Their father sighed.
Pen, however, didn't believe that. Saw had another partner, it must be. However that thought didn't cross Pen's mind that much when she came back from her.. disappearance.
"Princess! Where were you when me and your brother were talking?" Their father yelled at her while Pen stared at her. "Father, she probably went to greet the commoners or visit the Queen's quarters."
Faintly grumbling, the King sat back down. "She must have another partner." He mumbled under his rusty breath.

In the speed of a blink, after Pen woke up, Saw appeared at his quarters. "Hi, brother." Bowing at the presence at the Crown Prince, Pen sat up. "Father must be mad at you." Pen chuckled. Saw started laughing faintly, but stopped after a heartbeat. She bowed once more and exit his quarters.
As Pen was having a stroll around the Palace perimeters along with his maids, he came across two court ladies gossiping to each other. "Did you hear the rumors about Princess Saw having another lowly partner?" One whispered. The other gasped. "No wait, did you hear that someone apparently witnessed Princess making out with someo--"
"You said what?" Pen interrupts them. At the speed of light, the two court ladies stood up and bowed respectfully towards Pen. "If I ever hear you two, or any of the other ladies gossip about my sister, I will sew your mouths shut." Pen hissed, before continuing on with his stroll. Terrified, the two ladies - still standing - started trembling.
Upon seeing their father also taking a walk, he bowed. "Hello, Father." Almost surprised by the sudden greeting, the King also looks at Pen and smiles a little. "Hello, son. Here, come to my quarters for tea."
Pen, sitting down on the seat the King reserved for him, gently picked up his tea and started to sip. "And by the way, Pen," A little nervous, Pen looks up. "Y-yes, sir?" He responds, trembling faintly. "do you think your sister has another outsider partner?"
Pen immediately sets down his cup of tea and gets an inch closer to the King. "Father, what do you mean-" "Well, what would explain the random disappearances of Saw in the day, and the fact she always comes back in a grin?" the King leans back on his throne and breathes. "Father, that is nonsense. Saw would never betray us like that. She would never,"
Now that Pen said that, he starts doubting himself. Yes, of course, since he's his own little object he also has his own thoughts, but that thought started eating him alive. Saw? She has a partner outside palace walls? Who would her partner be--
"King! Crown Prince!"
A yell interrupts their thoughts. "What is it, Left State Councilor?" the worried King stands up. "We have found out Princess Saw is missing! We've checked everywhere for her and we still can't find her!"
"Release all the men!" The King's raspy voice echoed through the King's quarters. "Father, what's going on?" Pen heard it loud and clear, but something stopped him from understanding it. "Pen, your sister is missing. Stay here, we should wait for some news."
However, Pen would not let this slide.
In a heartbeat, Pen stands up, legs trembling. "Father, I must go with them." His worried voice fills the King's ears. "Pen, it's dangerous out there, someone might-" "I must go with them, Father! I must find my sister!" These were one of the rare moments Pen yelled at the King, and when Pen yelled at the King, he really demanded something.
