Love invite

I'm studying for my schools class, I'm not the most "popular" person at my school or in general at that. All of the sudden I remember I forgot to get my mail, I run out to get its poring rain.I quickly grab it and run to my bedroom, I put it on my desk and put the notes in my bag.I have some post cards and a letter from "Love Locks" , I open it confused and there's a letter that says "Dear y/n, you have been accepted into Love Locks, you are one of the 20 out of 15 thousand selected, on March 5th go to a airport to come to the wonderful Love Locks" followed with a ticket with clarification for you to go on that flight. I'm shocked and think about if for a bit and think it's stupid and I don't need love rn especially after my last relationship. I leave it on my desk and go to my bed and go on my phone,as I'm scrolling through my Instagram feed and I see a video of my most recent ex kissing his new girlfriend. I look at it over and over and then I look over at the letter on my desk I walk over to it and pick it up to look at it. I look at it for a bit and take a deep breath as I put it down and walk to my closet and grab my suitcase and a bag and I put some of my clothes and things in the bags. I lay back down on my bed "I guess this whole thing might not be that bad,I mean it's tomorrow what could go wrong"I take a deep breath.
