[Venti POV]
I was about to confess my feelings for Lumine when I heard a strange voice in the back of my head.
"Venti~..."
I soon realized the voice, Fear running down my spine.
My old friend..
He was calling out my name in the wind. His cry were faint and soft. I froze in fear.
How was he here...Talking to me? What is happening?
My old friend..why was he calling me?.. Its been so long I've almost forgotten his voice.
[Nobodys POV]
Venti has never gotten close with anyone after the Archon War. He didnt let himself get to attached in case of losing someone dear to him. After he lost his friend he didnt want to lose anyone else, so he drifted away from everyone. Venti couldn't help himself getting attached to Lumine, who was looking at him with wondering eyes. "Venti?..Are you ok? Ive been calling your name!" She said waving her hand in Venti face.
Venti shook his head, snapping out of his trance. "Lumine?..What happened?" Venti asked. "You just froze and stopped talking.." Lumine responded, worried. Venti stood there and looked In Lumines eyes, admiring them. "Im..ok. I just..spaced out." He said, putting Lumine down. "Are you sure? Here you know what? Let's go to the Winery and get you some water!" Lumine said, smiling.
As Lumine pulled Venti back to Mondstat, He only could think of one thing.
Lumine was perfect.
Perfect for him.
Venti sighed and stopped walking. Lumine looked back and stared at him. "Venti? What's up..Why'd you stop?" She asked, still holding his hand. Venti took of his hat and looked at the ground, blushing. "Lumine I- I uhm..need to tell you something." The bard said shyly. Lumine wondered what this was all about! "Venti..what is this?" She asked, blushing a bit.
Venti took Lumines hand and covered his face with his hat, His face turning red.
The bard only spoke one sentence. That sentence changed everything.
"Lumine..I- I love you."
